[8.4] Vulnerable like two hearts in love

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 11: One of the best episodes so far. The amount of interesting, charming, funny and charismatic "things" is way beyond + .

This episode shines above all because of very good writing and choice of dialogues. See! When something is more than right, I too admit it with grace.

One of the few episodes that was sweet cream from start to finish and what an ending we have. Vulnerable like two hearts in love.

"You snore by the way, like an Albanian field wench"

The police murder case involves Tim Dunlear millionaire philanthropist and the creator of a foundation for the homeless and starving, but just how squeaky clean was he really?

Just what is happening to Lucifer Morningstar, is he really developing a conscience?

The "Greater Good " to him has always meant that which serves his own interests, so what's his complete angle in the apparent largesse towards the Dunlear Foundation?

Amenadiel so desperate to get Lucifer to return home that he approached a mortal to do his dirty work, detective Malcolm Graham so desperate to evade hell that he is prepared to strike deals with anyone.

What occurs to me such that I'm surprised that it also hasn't occurred to Lucifer, is that his difficulties concerning 'mortality' only commenced, around one specific mortal namely Chloe Decker. What he should be directly concerned with is what is it about her, that is bringing about these totally unprecedented and unparalleled changes, in his whole existence?

Funny and revealing.
galaxyharvey3 March 2020
The opening scene is laugh out loud funny, Lucifer is such a tease. Tom Ellis plays the character so well. There are some moments of real drama and suspense, quite shocking in places. Maze has some real character development in this episode, which is good to see as she is one of my favourite characters, her relationship with Lucifer is complex and very interesting. The revelation in the closing moments opens up another world of possibilities for this amazing show.

I think our relationship might go beyond work...

Warning: Spoilers
Omg the last scene. When Lucifer comes over and Decker has a genuine smile. She tells him she thinks their relationship goes beyond work and that he makes her vulnerable. She lets her guard down.

He takes the knife and slides it across his hand and he bleeds. It seems when he is with her he becomes mortal.
