At the beginning, the show seemed pretty funny. The situations seemed very unlikely to work unless they were scripted. It seemed more like a Saturday Night Live skits show than a prank show. I had a few laughs.

Unfortunately, the writers started re-using ideas pretty quickly. I have seen about 3-4 variations of the magic cream sales show. Even the main actors seem to have trouble laughing and acting like the shock ending is a surprise. The victims are all now recognizing that they are on "Fameless" which seems very unlikely considering that this show is usually on at 3 in the morning, and I am guessing the audience rating is just over zero.

If you can get the first season, I thought it had a few funny moments.

Every reality show is fake. They are all scripted. Everyone is pretending it is real, but it is not. Fameless is no exception. I have watched a few episodes, and I look at it as a comedy show about a reality show.

Some episodes have funny moments. If I can get a couple of laughs from Fameless, then it is good enough. Reality TV is usually pretty awful, so nobody should expect much.

I've only seen two episodes, because it hasn't been out long, but it's just not funny. The whole thing seems poorly scripted and I'm pretty sure I saw a large African American woman in the previews (or the beginning of the show) that I've recognized from either YouTube or some other reality TV show from a few years back.

The whole thing is just unbelievable and the scenes seem forced. The kicker is, even if they put good actors on the show, it'd still be crap, IMO (believe it or not, the actors from that Miami repo show were more believable than the characters they threw in this).

After watching what very little this show has to offer, I couldn't even pretend to consider thinking about cracking a single smile. TruTV needs to stop with these butthole shows. This was a terrible idea and I don't see it catching on. Viewers (and David Spade) won't be seeing this train wreck for very long. I'll be genuinely surprised to see this finish out the season, yet alone be signed for a second one. Do better, David, you've got to do better.

Fameless is terrible! I do not understand how it is still on the air. Most of the reviews are bad... FOR A REASON! I know David Spade isn't that great to begin with, but what even is this? This is not funny whatsoever! The skits are dumb, the actors are bad, and the premise is just overall TERRIBLE! Each episode is very unbelievable and way over scripted. I am very disappointed with truTV and their decision to keep this going. I really hope it is not signed for a third season. Save your money and time and get rid of this show!!! After reading through these reviews I cannot help but agree with someone when they said the only people who wrote the good reviews are the ones on the show... because other than that it does not have a big following! Such a waste of time and NOT worth watching. If you're looking for a laugh, wait for Impractical Jokers to come on, because you won't find that here.

I started to watch this show in December 2017, and I actually liked it. I assumed that it would be almost as good as Impractical Jokers. That was until I realized that this show was basically the same thing. Some other shows on TruTv followed the same formula, but for at least a season or two of the show are above average. This show only about an episode or two were above average. This isn't a terrible show, but other shows on TruTv destroy ones like this. I liked David Spade in Tommy Boy, but just because he made the show doesn't mean it's going to be decent. Some parts of the show are actually pretty funny, like the reactions of the victim, I love seeing reactions. That being said, it's still the same repetitive thing. Some may say that this show is fake, I don't necessarily agree with that, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were actually true.

I've found every episode of this show hilarious so far! There is a lot of effort put into every episode which presents great on TV. In pursuit of fame, people on this show put up with some things that they would normally never go along with. Their expressions crack me up when they are clearly uncomfortable but make an attempt to put up a face for TV while all that's going on in their head is, "This is so weird! What the hell is wrong with Hollywood? I hope I come out looking good after the edits!". People's reactions when they are told it's not real is in most cases "Thank God! What a relief!" When it comes to gathering fame, people really give everything they have - as is evident from the reactions of every person on this show. It could be soul crushing for some to realize it was a prank. So I hope the people pranked are compensated well for their efforts or at best given a chance to make real appearances for TV. I love the show!

For a comedy show, it has no humour. Each little "sketch" I shall say seems so fake and odd it's not amusing. Reactions are so underwhelming and it feels awkward to watch with others. Seriously, how can I believe this isn't scripted when one of the people discover something very serious in a car boot only for him to sound bored while saying "oh no". After being revealed he's on a prank show he does a little skip with no sense of surprise.... Honestly, I was just quite disappointed. Only once have I ever seen a person react genuinely (or seem to react genuinely). I'd stick to other prank shows and avoid this. Maybe, a person would enjoy this if they like the idea of the situations the people end up in however, in the end, the actual people aren't fun to watch.

If Fameless were a scripted sitcom, it wouldn't matter -- it's hilarious. Apparently it's not, it's a hidden camera TV show and I think those who create these pranks have the best job in the universe.

Prior to Fameless I could kill hours watching YouTube prank channels, however, after a while even the best of them become repetitious and the authenticity of whether what you're watching actually being a prank comes into question. Lately, more often than not, they seem rehearsed.

I guess my favorite might be Magic Water, as I've lost count on how many times I watched it. I laugh out loud every time. Fake reality show tryouts, Deputy for a Day, fake reality show participation -- so much better than the real thing. Eventually those pranksters will become so well known the pranks will be harder to pull off -- for now I'll continue to wish there were a limitless supply of episodes :-)

I've seen 3-4 episodes of this show and it is beyond bad. It's not like the newer TruTV shows of today but more in line with the crap the network was showing 3-4 years ago. Not a single aspect of this show is real, the kids they get to be "pranked" are underpaid and the worst kind of actors in this world. There is little surprise when the "prank" is revealed because these kids couldn't act their way out of a paper bag.

I'll throw the producers a bone here. Each prank lasts about 3 minutes, you can't believably get someone into a scenario that you can "prank" them in a matter of a couple of minutes, there has to be actual work put into it. Why this concept is lost on the people who are creating this show and not on me, someone who is not associated with film in the least is very depressing. Rest assured, any and all positive reviews of this show are from people associated with it, there is not a walking person alive who has seen this and would truthfully recommend it.

Please do better.

This is by far the worst show in the history of comedy. Everything about this show is fake and you will realize it from the stupid reactions to "being on Fameless". This show needs to be erased from Tru-TV. The only 2 shows worth watching on that channel is impractical jokers and the show where a guy goes around doing magic tricks. The good reviews that you see are clearly from the people who are apart of the show because there is nothing hilarious about this show. I don't usually write reviews so this should tell you something. But yeah, if you want to sit there wasting your time then this is probably the show to watch.

Shameless is a tedious joke to Tru TV, its ridiculously fake nothing true or real about it. David Spade must have hit a pot hole in his bank account to even think this would take off like any other show Tru TV airs. Please change the channel when SHAMELESS appears.

The only problem I have with this show is how hard it is to get a hold of here in Scotland. Doug Stanhope mentioned it on his podcast so I took a look for myself. After watching "To Catfish a Predator" I ended up binge watching the entire first series and it was SO FUNNY IT MADE ME CRY.

The previous review for this show, here on IMDb is hyper critical and scores the show as awful. This leads me to assume that the individual responsible is devoid of humour and probably prefers watching tutorial videos on stamp collecting.

Stop wasting time and start watching Fameless. You will only regret it if you are a humourless dick end.

This show is quite frankly, awful. I do find myself watching it when I have absolutely nothing else I would rather watch, but other than that type of situation, this show is not worth watching.

As another reviewer has referred to it as a comedy show rather than a prank show, I can only agree. Every prank seems way too staged/scripted/fake. The reactions are oddly over exaggerated and then weirdly under exaggerated. Some pranks even those in high-stress inducing situations just seem completely unbelievable to every extent. This show seems to be just some reality TV show where everything is scripted for a quick chuckle or laugh, which I have yet to do by the way. Perhaps that's the actual purpose behind Fameless.

If this were an actual prank show, or at least seemed like a genuine prank show, if that's possible, then perhaps then I would love to have watched this show. Otherwise, it's annoying, boring, and just a time waster.

Where to start with this show. The actors are just terrible, and the people are so full of themselves it's just annoying. The setups are just fake and full of scripted lines. And after they slip "Fameless" into a sentence, the person has no idea what Fameless is because the show is so unknown. I can't even sit through 10 minutes of this crap without cringing.
