Horrible yet fascinating?

Warning: Spoilers
So much going on in the Emerald City. The wizard, as in all "OZ" versions is a Humbug, a sham, a terrible fake. This one is very cruel and responsible for the slaughter of maybe hundreds or thousands. The magic in this land has a very sadistic edge to it. Even "Good Witch Glenda" has evil in her purposes. Witches are burned. Townspeople, soldiers, and enchanted beings die as well. Lucas (the Scarecrow) turns against Dorothy after having a tryst with her. An enchanted girl is also a boy, but must remain a girl in order to lead a coven of witches. The Stone Giants come to life. The Munchkins are a primitive tall tribe yet very wise. All dogs are called "Toto". The "Tin-Man" accidentally shoots the Princess-Queen who turns out to be clockwork yet seems so real. She (it) wears ornate masks to hide the fact that "she" doesn't age, as her face is artificial as well. She is not scary or deformed. Next week is episode 10. Dorothy returns Lucas (the scarecrow) back to his "crucified perch" (Yes, there are nails through his flesh.) The whole place and series is rather gloomy. Maybe there will be no 2nd season? Dorothy's truck (not house) landed on the Wicked Witch. Maybe she will use her new-found magic powers and just fly home! Good!

Ozma gets a beautiful new gown.

Warning: Spoilers
Spoilers. Observations. Opinions.

Ozma gets a beautiful new gown. First, Tip is ticked off that she is not a boy. Then, her powers turn her back into one. He even has, we shall say, a male relationship with a tree. He is now flat-chested, and has short boy's hair, but is still wearing the peasanty dress.

West tells him to buy a clue, that for witchdom to defeat the wizard, Tip needs to be really Ozma and take her royal place as the head of the witch army. Later, Tip is female, all fancy hair-dressed, and wears the most beautiful long gown all shades of what looks like blues and whites.

More on the fashion front (not): the tough army of the secondary witches leaves much to be desired. Their hairstyles are terrible. The main one is ugly as all heck. At least West and Glinda have some fashion sense. Even East had a beautiful long red gown. They are cardinal witches, not backwoodsy hags like in the so-called witch army.

Lucas attacks Dorothy, as instructed by Glinda. Alas, he cannot do the deed. Reminds me of the huntsman in Snow White, who also doesn't carry out his assignment.

Jane calls the wizard a fraud. Yay! He was a nobody back in the old days, and now he thinks he is in charge.

Ojo is a munchkin? Who'da thought it? Ojo's wife looks like a pretty smart cookie. She knows a lot.

Lucas is back on the cross. Meanwhile, my little friend Toto has mauled Lucas' face when Dorothy was being attacked. Yay, doggie!
