The effects of 9/11

A little history is helpful in dealing with this season 6 Blue Bloods opener. Part of the story of 9/11 is the final night of the hijackers getting drinks and lap dances on 9/10 before they did their terrible thing.

So when in separate incidents Will Estes hears a report from a dancer at a bar and Donnie Wahlberg is called in after a Moslem man is babbling about bombs it goes to the Reagan in charge.

Even when Tom Selleck is given a lecture on civil liberties from his daughter Bridget Moynahan, Selleck decides to go all out because the alternative if the rumors are true is a nightmare.

I swear this one episode you think the entire city could not get along without the Reagan family.

Islamophobia!

I knew it!from the start of the episode!.Another "adventure" in giving Islam a bad name!, just like so many other TV shows lately,NCIS ,NCIS Los Angeles etc.Come on guys!,enough of this. I used to enjoy Blue Bloods for excellent story lines,and top-notch acting.But lately they have joined the bandwagon to portray Islam as a "terrorist" religion.They are giving bad publicity to Islam. For those viewers who are new to this religion,this episode will surely be a start to see Islam as a bad religion.For those viewers who view Islam and Muslim in the negative, they surely enjoy this episode.Please move on! You are giving paranoia a bad name!..3 star for the acting..and Tom Selleck is still "expressionless"..

Propaganda? Check.

This episode started out promisingly. But as it went on, it leaned way too much on propaganda and easily turned out to be a big mess. You can easily comprehend it from the way Danny's character was written in this episode. His reaction. It was typical of an American.

And to reply to this ignorant comment by one of the other reviewers (Rainer something) - "how about we hear some moderate Muslims speaking out against the terrorists?". How about you do some research before you go around blurting like a total daft. Majority of the worldwide bombing occur in Islamic countries and not in the west. This is why uneducated ignorant people shouldn't go online.

Leaning towards propaganda

I knew from the beginning of this episode that it will be leading towards propaganda. It began with a look at supposed Tel Aviv bombings that are obviously insinuating that Islam is to blame. The rest of the episode was nothing but negative and incorrect depictions of Muslims, from them being at strip clubs, drinking, to weird prayers and broken Arabic that has nothing to do with the religion. Nothing can describe this episode other than Anti-Islam propaganda. I have always enjoyed this series, but over time it has deteriorated and has begun to focus on topics that viewers may see negatively. I do however rate it 3.5/10 for the actors' performances

I am very angry and frustrated because. Linking the Koran to terrorism in one of the episodes of the series Danny told a young terrorist that you failed the Lord because of non-detonated explosives also said it is from Koran 1\3 Terrorism does not represent the Koran and the Koran does not represent terrorism, there is no Koran in the call for the killing of peaceful people There is ayah if Danny used is good :(Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption ,done, in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, ,even ,after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.

Ouch! Pro gun, pro pork, wine

The episode was riveting. It was engaging and it really showed a lot of Danny's dark side. Epic police work, good civilian instincts to willingly participate in getting to mitigate a terrorist attack that is happening in cities worldwide at the same time Sadly though the MMA fight with the attacker went sideways at the end. Anyway, Danny put 4 in the chest of the attacker.

And the kicker, for the ending of this episode, is the family, dinner... thick grilled with sub standard grill marked, thick pork loin steaks, guzzling red wine, and chucking off underage drinking, this ending was an extravagant commercial promoting pork, alcohol and copper bullets... The episode was riveting and stressful until the nose thumbing soured the end.
