During the party in the University the band is playing "The Liberty Bell March" by John Philip Sousa. This is also the music used as the theme song of the 1960s British TV comedy series Monty Python's Flying Circus. A possible ode to Terry Gilliam, director of the original 12 Monkeys movie and member of the Monty Python team.

Goofs
The chauffeur in 1944 says, "You almost gave me a coronary!" The use of this expression dates from no earlier than 1960 (at least, in this time line!)
