Good episode, even funny in certain way. Very relevant, if you see what's happening in world right now.

This is pretty intense

Warning: Spoilers
Peter had such an innocent confusing playful vibe to him in this episode.

I liked when he accidentally threw away the couch while sitting on it in the lawn when he left.

This is very emotionally charged and, makes you feel bad for both Peter and Cleveland.

I'm glad that Cleveland ended up standing up for Peter in the end.

Seriously? This one ep made me not want to see more, ever.

Warning: Spoilers
This ep shows Peter shooting someone in the dark and it turns out to be Cleveland's kid. Suddenly his best friend claims racism out of nowhere.. Then Lois beats Peter horribly for being stupid? This had to be the stupidest writing of all time.

After that, they use crowd based justice to force the police to arrest Peter after it was initially ruled an accident. A cancel culture type thing. With a rich white guy to the rescue by making the black kid look bad. Only for everything to be resolved in seconds with more real life political crap.

We watch television like this for comedy relief from life, but this ep was just terrible.

It's very sad

Family Guy used to be centered around the characters. The first 8 seasons there were many, many episodes that just were hilarious throughout because the plot were simple and it felt like you were taken to another world, the Family Guy world where you couldn't wait for the next episode to see what would happen. Now it just seems so fake, they removed the humor from the characters and ultimately the show. When's the last time they based an entire episode on a normal day for the Griffins? (Like Stewie and Brian fixing up an old house? lol) The characters have been getting softer and softer and the episodes continue to deteriorate because they try and make them about current events or newsworthy stories. Half the episodes recently have some kind of controversy, whether it be race, politics, or social issues. The whole reason i loved Family Guy was because it was funny, the characters were so different than any other show and probably most of all, i was able to get away from the real world for 20 minutes. This episode was rock bottom. What the heck was this? Very disappointed i spent time watching it.

This has a 7.1?! Are you people serious?!

Warning: Spoilers
This is a Peter torture episode. Peter accidentally shoots Cleveland's son, and now Cleveland hates Peter and claims it as a hate crime and now everyone hates Peter.

Sounds bad on paper already, but it gets worse. Peter tries to find a way to end it, but fails. And there's this scene where Lois beats up Peter because he's stupid while Peter cries and is in pain. And Peter just lets her beat him up. Why?! Why do these characters not do anything about the situations they're in?! Like Stewie in Brian Writes A Bestseller!

Oh and at the end Cleveland Jr is evil. Which came out of nowhere. Oh and guess what? They never explain what Cleveland Jr was doing outside at night. They have him outside at night because that's where the episode needs him to be.

Also Peter is accused of being racist. You need proof to see if he is actually racist, but instead everyone acts like a freakin' hypocrite and saying he IS racist! Also this episode is a rip off of Brian's A Bad Father's side plot where Peter shoots Quagmire on purpose. But here it was an accident. And poor Peter has to go through hell in this episode.

One more thing, this episode is racist. Extremely racist. Black people would find this episode racist too. But apparently these IMDb voters love this episode and the other worst episodes of the series. I mean 7.1?! Really?! Do you people even watch these episodes before giving them a rating?! Overall, this episode is up there with the worst episode.

Utter waste of a good premise
JQPbannana55786 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What an utter waste of a potentially interesting premise. Peter starts a neighbourhood watch and carries a gun. He sees someone sneak into Cleveland's house through a window, so naturally he shoots him... yeah Peters entirely in the wrong in this situation, but at the same time it's entirely within his character, this presents a good opportunity for character growth, but instead the story is derailed when instead of Cleveland getting mad at Peter for shooting his son when because he's a dangerous idiot, he thinks Peter did it intentionally because he's a bigot, so instead of Peter changing as a person the episode focuses on him trying to convince Cleveland and the rest of the town that he's not a racist.
