Sex & Nudity

  • A brief 1-2 second shot of a man thrusting into a woman, we only see his butt.
  • During the carnival park scene, one of the attractions of which they are in, has nude images painted on the wall. Along with this, sounds of moaning can be heard in the background. This goes on for less than, to a minute.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is violently beaten in prison by other prisoners and sent to the hospital. We see his bloody face and some blood on the floor.
  • A man tackles and beats another man unconscious, bloodying his face pretty badly.
  • A man tackles another man and is attacked by the man's dog.
  • Two people watch a reality crime show in which police officers attempt to stop a woman from committing suicide. A knife is clearly shown in the woman's side and blood stains her clothes.
  • A man jumps out of a cab going at 50 miles an hours. His face then has a very swollen and bruised black eye. The left side of his face is covered in bandages. His face is like this for the whole movie.
  • The scenes in the movie that are violent are often filmed in close up.
  • A mentally handicapped man is hurt and beaten throughout the film, very disturbing and hard to watch.

Profanity

  • The one use of the n word is by a white man, not in a racist context though
  • 160 uses of "fuck".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One character is involved with acid dealers. A subplot involves the characters attempting to get money for a large quantity of acid contained in a soda bottle.
  • A character describes his experiences over the course of a day as he drinks increasing quantities of alcohol and also does acid, and describes the effect this had on him.
  • A character pours half a bottle of acid (LSD) into a security officer's mouth in order for him to forget an incident which had just occurred.
  • Brief instances of smoking.
  • A 16 year old girl smokes marijuana from a pen
  • A man gives another man OxyContin while being pinned down to a bed.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This film is very intense and filmed with very close, paranoid cinematography which adds to the suspense and overall unpredictable nature of the movie. This film may be unsettling to watch for some.
  • The main protagonist, Connie, is constantly on the run, getting from problem to problem and accumulating all of them
  • Like in Uncut Gems (2019), the film is extremely stressful and intense

Sex & Nudity

  • A man begins kisses a woman portrayed as a 16-year-old girl on a couch; and carries her to a bedroom, where he continues kissing her -this scene happens fairly quickly.

Violence & Gore

  • A man falls from a high rise window ledge. While the impact is obscured, we hear the sound of his body hitting the ground. The fate of the man remains unclear, although one would presume he would have died.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The final scene is heartbreaking with Nick at the institution, along with the credit sequence that follows.
  • A man falls from a building. Due to how tense the scene is as a whole and how it's presented, some viewers may find this frightening.
