"Bloodyback" it's an original take on the zombie genre. Same modern zombie rules (after Danny Boyle) apply here: zombies are fast and rabid. But the twist it's on the time frame: this outbreak happens during the French and Indian war, in the 1750's. This make for an exciting mix of war movie and horror flick, but at the same time resonates emotionally thanks to fully developed characters. Harry Aspinwall's take on a science man navigating crazy times its very well done. It has a huge production value for a short film, with awesome wardrobe, art direction and photography. This one asks for a feature.
