This is the best episode of the show ever (well in most ways).

F*** all the haters who say this is the worst episode. Music is supposed to attract people to a TV show/movie, not steer them away. Anyway, this is the episode got me used to things I don't get used to when I watch internet videos and attracted me with it's music. Would love a full soundtrack, because so far, I love the 2 songs featured. Hell, I'd listen to the whole album if I had to. Back to the episode, and Morty's singing voice, the problem with his singing voice is it doesn't sound much like his speaking voice, which really bothers me. I understand that shaky voices are hard to do while singing, but only thing I'd say to the people behind the voices is try a bit harder next time.

Great episode.

It is random debris. I found it in my carpet. I do not know what humans eat.

I disagree with kevinniederman

Sup. Ice Tea saving the planet, Drunk Rick singing the schwifty song. Morty disagreeing with Rick on moral grounds and grabbing the nearest Rick technology and randomly pressing the buttons. Kevinniederman you seem like a real Morty. It's not an insult to most people because they don't know Morty, but you do, you know Morty don't you. So you know what i'm saying when i call you a Morty.

I loved this episode. The whole misinterpretation of the church followers. They interpret a completely false reality because they don't know the answers and listen to the guy who seems to make sense. No correlation there in our current religious doctrines at all.

The meaninglessness of our current fad with x-factor or Idol. They put the earth on the elimination round as a joke. We don't have the earth on the elimination round of a make believe reality contest every week because it's stupid. You can't do stupid every week. Just like Idol and X-factor, it's all a meaningless, stupid contest. These guys come up with original stuff to hold a mirror to our ordinary stuff. But when you look a bit deeper they say something about it.

Right from the start your review had me separated. Because this is classic Rick and Morty. I loved it. Made me laugh and made me think. Simpsons never did that

For head's sake!

For head's sake, I came here thinking this episode got a 9.5 or smth, then found it's only 8.3 and some ppl complaining, really?

It's one of the best episodes. It describes how different ppl react to things in a very accurate and funny way.

Not so funny any more

The funniest part is the user reviews seeing profound philosophy in this light entertainment.

Favourite Rick and Morty episode

This has got to be one of the best episodes of Rick and Morty. I would liken it to Hunger Games but for planets. Each planet must come up with the catchiest tune or face the wrath of these weird space alien head things. The song that Rick and Morty come up is nothing short of catchy and pretty hilarious to listen to. Honestly, I don't know where the writers come up with this stuff. It's pure brilliance.

I would say that the gags in this episode are pretty hilarious. There's a lot of quirkiness in this show in general and this episode comes as a close tie to Pickle Rick - another great classic and favourite of mine.

What?

There's many reasons why I think this is the worst Rick and Morty episode yet. First of all, talking heads plot line didn't seem funny at all. Although taking a shot at religions with humor, it didn't quite did it for me in a show where science abounds the way to satisfy the talking heads is by being the best at singing. Overall, this episode didn't hit for me. To me it was annoying, and i wanted the episode to end. I won't give it a 7/10 cause I know it's not that horrible, it's just that imo out of every good episode of Rick and Morty that has come out this is the worst one but it's all just a matter of taste.

Like a weak Futurama episode

Few things go well with references to modern music. The music industry is probably the most accurate lens through which our society's decay is shown. I liked the religious mockery, but that was only a faint sparkle in the overall dullness.

Usually the characters in this show are interesting and complex, in this episode they're two-dimensional and predictable. Even Rick isn't himself, he's barely there because the real Rick would've found a quick and disastrous solution to this bore-fest.

I love this show, it's brilliant on many levels. But this episode is absolutely not an example of it.
