- The night time rape scene is violent and intense and escalates before it comes to a close.

- A female astronaut is slowly stretched an pulled apart by a black hole. She groans in pain and her head eventually explodes inside her helmet. Blood and brain matter fills her helmet. The shot is brief but disturbing.
- A woman is bludgeoned to death with a shovel. Only the aftermath, not the act, is shown, and is seen from a distance. Minimal blood.
- One of the convicts undergoes 'spaghettification' after being sucked into a black hole. We see their physical discomfort while blood begins to leak from their face. After a few seconds they cough up blood and their head seemingly explodes in their space helmet. Quite fast but disturbing.
