  Officer Heidemann : Self-inflicted.

  [walks toward a crowd of officers conversing] 

• Det. Kathy Schumaker : [a somewhat shaky bird's eye view of the nighttime city is shown and a few seconds in, Schumaker begins speaking to a forward-facing Avery]  So, Avery, you said that you saw two men take Kaley. Did you see anything else in the area? Did you see their faces?

  Rihanne : [Mom comes in the hallway and into the room]  Avery? Oh, Avery!

  Avery : Mom!

  Rihanne : Avery! Oh, honey! Oh, my God!
