EPISODE 1: "All children's stories begin with their parents" Lee Hyun arrives in Korea to recover lost memories. As he walks through his childhood home he flashbacks to 20 years ago when he met Lee Joon-young, the man who murdered his father. Cha Ji-an and the team of detectives meet Hyun at the crime scene of a serial killer.

As a highly respected criminal profiler and professor, Hyun begins to help Ji-an with the murder cases. Ji-an returns to the crime scene in search of clues which leads to a race to prevent a third victim.

EPISODE 3: "Thou shall not kill, however" Lawyer Jung Sun-ho arrives at a critical moment whilst Hyun and Ji-an are interviewing the suspect, Yang Seung-hoon, a psycho chaebol heir. Hyun suspects there is someone behind the scene helping Seung-hoon.

EPISODE 4: "The Suspect, Lee Hyun" Chaebol heir Seung-hoon gets arrested in China thanks to Hyun, but Ji-an is punished because of Hyun's tactics. Hyun becomes a murder suspect after attempting to learn information from his father's former colleague.

EPISODE 5: "Born back ceaselessly into the past" Hyun takes refuge at Ji-an's while they investigate the murder of the police officer. They discover it is the son of a man wrongfully imprisoned. This fact stirs up painful memories for Ji-an.

EPISODE 6: "The Blood of a Murderer" While wrapping up the previous case, Hyun is attacked and an old prosecutor disappears. Following this Hyun meets a troubled young man who is concerned he will become a murderer. In order to help him, Hyun agrees to officially join the detectives.

EPISODE 7: "Shall we be partners?" Hyun identifies with the young student and hires lawyer Jung Sun-ho to help. The team of detectives capture the criminal but the case doesn't seem to have a happy ending. Sun-ho becomes increasingly curious about Hyun and may even have deadly intentions towards our duo.

EPISODE 8: "Remember Me" Ji-an is attacked in her home and Sun-ho saves her, but he seems to be behind the assault in the first place. In a flashback we learn of Sun-ho's identity and what happened to him after Lee Joon-young kills his father. Meanwhile Hyun talks to Joon-ho about ways to murder without a corpse and investigates at the docks.

EPISODE 9: "Stalkers" The detectives investigate a stalker case and they must hurry before another woman is killed. The cat and mouse game between Hyun and Sun-ho ramps up when they agree to have dinner together. Joon-ho is also invited and it seems like he and Sun-ho have some connection.

EPISODE 10: "Find Me" Whilst trying to apprehend the criminals behind the stalking case, Ji-an and team leader Kang are kidnapped and hurt respectively. Hyun, Joon-ho and Sun-ho work together to find her. Later we learn Hyun's adoptive mother planning director Hyun Ji-soo received information from Lee Joon-young to help her career.

EPISODE 11: "Birth of a Monster" Lee Joon-young returns and his sad life history is shared. Did these events create a killer? In turn, Lee Joon-young raising young Min, did that then create another killer? A new case begins involving the death of a high school student.

EPISODE 12: "If I had to kill somebody" Hyun discovers that Min and Sun-ho are the same person and when he visits Sun-ho, their reunion is emotional. Hyun shares some of this with Ji-an and she comforts him. Hyun tries to reconnect with his brother but when Lee Joon-young learns about this he is unsure what to think.

EPISODE 13: "What choice would you make?" As a new case unfolds, Ji-an or Min may be a target as they are cherished by Hyun. Lee Joon-young gets involved when the culprit injures Min. Joon-young sends Ji-an a grisly present on her birthday.

EPISODE 14: "Lee Joon-young's Room" Lee Joon-young believes he sent Ji-an the gift as a good deed and can't understand why she is angry. He also expresses a wish for the brothers to live with him. The detectives all start looking for Lee Joon-young but one is not on their side.

Ji-an takes photos from Lee Joon-young's room and begins to investigate their connection. Unbeknownst one of the photos is her team member. Hyun continues to have faith that Min can be transformed.

The final confrontation between Lee Joon-young, Min and Hyun. There does not seem to be a happy ending for anyone. One year later Ji-an is missing Hyun when he turns up again to help with a new case.
