There's a lot that's awkward about this episode and when you think about it not a lot that isn't.Paul and Naomi's character arc kind of works but is unbalanced by the still unrealistic Daniel/Imogen pairing and Daniel's uncharacteristic and somewhat self-righteous rant. And we've seen Paul make these speeches many times with many women.
Which leaves...The Karl and Ben storyline, which turns out to have been two episodes of pointless filler with Susan being useless.More Brad and Lauren hanging out for no good reason.Paige muscling in on Mark and Tyler's alone time in a way that the episode can't quite decide we're meant to enjoy or not.
Oh, and Aaron taking Josh out on the pull. There is some fairly good bits here, especially Nate's amusement, but the scene of them letting an abusive boyfriend drag an apparently scared young woman away while making quips is...awkward.And then the ending which suggests we've moved into a superhero show.
