Cavitycolors pays tribute to Maniac Cop 2 with a new shirts and pins collection, and in today's Horror Highlights, we also have details on Aliens Ate My Homework, What the Waters Left Behind, and The Tormenting.
Maniac Cop 2 Shirts and Pins Collection: From Cavitycolors: "Hey Fiends!
This Thursday, we're bringing you our officially licensed Maniac Cop 2 collection!
Written by Larry Cohen (The Stuff) and directed by William Lustig (Maniac), Part 2 of the series is my personal favorite entry in the series. A 90's cult classic in the truest sense, it's just so satisfying to see a much more monstrous Matt Cordell wreak havoc on the streets of New York City. We couldn't be more excited to work with top notch artists on this release, including Devon Whitehead, Jason Edmiston, Shane Murphy, and Matt Skiff. All art is officially licensed, and approved by William Lustig himself for what might...

Full House has been all over the TV landscape in 2015, especially after it was officially announced that the series will be returning next year on Netflix in a revival entitled Fuller House. However, while all that nostalgia and buzz might make countless people binge-watch the new adventures of DJ, Stephanie, and Kimmy, it was not enough to bring viewers to watch Lifetime’s latest “behind-the-scenes” TV movie, The Unauthorized Full House Story, which drew pretty mediocre ratings when it aired on Saturday night. According to Nielsen, the movie was only watched by 1.6 million viewers in its initial airing from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday night, similar numbers to Lifetime’s Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, which premiered last September. The largest audience ever for a Lifetime original movie remains 2.1 million viewers for this summer’s Deadly Adoption, which starred Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig. However, while Lifetime’s…...

Like the "Saved by the Bell" cast before them, the former stars of "Full House" -- and upcoming revival series, "Fuller House" -- weren't too thrilled about Lifetime's biopic treatment, "The Unauthorized Full House Story," which premiered this weekend. Naturally, some of the cast members took to social media to air their grievances.
Candace Cameron Bure, who played D.J. in the original show and is set to reprise the role as the matriarch on "Fuller House," didn't name any names when she tweeted out a review on Saturday night. But it wasn't hard to tell which program she was calling "So bad. Just so bad" during "Unauthorized"'s timeslot.
So bad. Just so bad.

Costar Andrea Barber, back as Kimmy Gibbler on "Fuller," also had a negative review, tweeting out a screencap of her character rolling her eyes. "Basically I'm going to be making this face all night,...

The original stars of Full House (and its upcoming Netflix sequel) had no mercy when it came to Lifetime's TV movie, The Unauthorized Full House Story, which aired Saturday night.
Several of the beloved show's cast members took to Twitter to issue their opinions on the film, which promised drama but fell a little flat.
John Stamos, aka Uncle Jesse, took the high road and issued his support for the actor portraying him before the movie aired on Saturday.
"Good luck tonight @JMichaelGaston – Hope you have as much fun being me as I do," he wrote to actor (and Miley Cyrus...

We are both disappointed and quite pleased to announce that Lifetime's Full House movie was just not the unauthorized tell-all we were expecting it to be. By that, we mean it just wasn't nearly as filled with deep and dirty secrets as we wanted. On one hand, that means we don't feel any worse about our longtime Full House fan status. On the other hand, that was almost boring. We didn't form a negative opinion about any of our favorite childhood stars, and our childhood doesn't feel ruined at all, which is just not what we came for. We wanted drama, and what we got was a family of seemingly normal people just making a beloved TV show together. In fact, the whole...

Unauthorized Full House Story Star Promises 'Positive' Portrayal of Cast — Plus: Watch Two New Clips
Lifetime’s Unauthorized Full House Story (Saturday, 8/7c) may illuminate some of the classic sitcom’s less camera-friendly moments, but star Justin Gaston — who portrays both John Stamos and his Elvis-worshipping alter ego, Jesse Katsopolis — isn’t worried about ruffling the original cast’s feathers.

"The Unauthorized Full House Story," debuting August 22 on Lifetime, should be a lot of fun to watch -- or, if it's bad, to hate-watch. Despite the grumbling among fans who watched last year's "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" (whose scriptwriter, Ron McGee, also wrote Saturday's "Full House" movie), Lifetime is banking on these "Unauthorized" backstage tell-alls to drive ratings among nostalgia-minded viewers. (Coming in October: "Unauthorized" movies about the original "90210" and "Melrose Place.")
It doesn't matter that a lot of these showbiz TV biopics aren't very good, or feature unknown actors who bear little resemblance to the celebrities they're playing, or offer few genuine revelations from behind the scenes. By now, the format is a time-honored ritual, hitting specific beats along a familiar plot arc (usually a cautionary tale of rise, fall, and maybe redemption). Quality is almost beside the point. That said, some TV celebrity biopics are...

You may know actor, singer, and model Justin Gaston from his role as Ben Rogers on "Days of Our Lives" or as a contestant on Season 6 of "Nashville Star." Now the 27-year-old Louisiana native (and former Taylor Swift music video love interest) is taking on a whole new kind of role -- he'll be portraying John Stamos in Lifetime's "The Unauthorized Full House Story," which airs August 22.
What's it like to step into the iconic Uncle Jesse's leather boots? Gaston chatted with us about the pressures of playing such a beloved character, how he prepared for the role, Netflix's upcoming "Fuller House," and why he thinks the original cast should tune into the film, which he calls a "love letter" to "Full House."

Talk about a blast from the past! The Unauthorized Full House Story is set to air Saturday on Lifetime and it's safe to say the highly anticipated TV movie is covering everything: The hair, the clothes, the almost-firings, and—most importantly—the relationships. In E! News' exclusive sneak peek at the movie, John Stamos (Justin Gaston) meets Rebecca Romijn (Ashley Diana Morris), whom he married in 1998 and divorced in 2005, for the very first time. And yes, it was definitely love at first awkward encounter for the gorgeous ex-couple. Fun fact: Did you know they meet backstage at a fashion show, where Stamos almost ripped Romijn's dress? well, now you do...and you can see...

Do the Olsen twins means business? You got it, dude.
At least, that's the case in a new clip from Lifetime's The Unauthorized Full House Story, a tell-all TV movie that delves into the alleged behind-the-scenes drama of the wildly popular '90s show Full House and its cast.
In the exclusive clip, some serious negotiations go down between Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's representatives and the show's executives regarding how much the twins – who shared the role of Michelle Tanner, youngest daughter in the show's San Francisco family – will get paid.
"What kind of renegotiations for the twins?" asks a weary executive.

The Tanners rarely faced a problem they couldn’t resolve in 22 minutes, but the first clip from Lifetime’s The Unauthorized Full House Story reveals it wasn’t all smooth sailing behind the scenes. For one thing, it seems John Stamos (played here by Justin Gaston) wasn’t sold on the Olsen twins. And that Bob Saget (Garrett Brawith) was […]
