Four custom knife makers compete to make the best usable knife through a series of challenges.

With a small variety of metal objects to choose their metal from, four new competitors attempt to forge a knife in their own style. In five days, the final pair must create in their own forge a Moro Kris sword, a blade with roots dating back to 300BC, in the season finale of this suspenseful and fiery History Channel series.

Show starts with 4 blacksmiths, ferriers, metal workers, etc that compete to make a knife in a competitive manner, Round 1 they must forge a metal in the style the judges tell them such as ladder Damascus Etc and the must take that metal and create a knife in their own style with the dimensions they are given. Who ever had the least complete knife is eliminated. Round 2 the remaining 3 competitors must put a handle on their knife and finish any work that they were not able to complete in round 1, then the judges test their knives for sharpness ability of puncture, Etc. Whoever is knife doesn't perform the best or fails is eliminated. Round 3 the final to competitors must make a weapon of the judges choice at their home Forge in 5 days then they return to the shows Forge where their weapons are tested and the judges pick a winner.
