- Severus casts Crucio (a torture spell) on Sirius. No blood or gore is shown, but Sirius is obviously in extreme pain. Severus then shoots Remus in the face with Sectumsempra, a spell that causes bloody slashes to appear
- After a very brief and nonviolent stand-off with Peter, Severus then walks up to James and beats him up with spells. Blood and welts are shown on his face.
