Sex & Nudity

  • Brief cleavage is visible on a woman at a cocktail reception. About 30 minutes left in the movie, a man gets out of bed and runs across the screen naked.

Violence & Gore

  • There are a couple of heated arguments between the main married couple in the movie and objects are thrown.
  • It is revealed later that a married man killed his wife as a result of blunt force trauma during an argument. This is all done via implication.

Profanity

  • The f-bombs start about halfway through the movie and are spoken mostly by the main character.
  • The b-word is spoken a few times, as well as, the g.d.-word.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Male protagonist is shown smoking cigars. Social alcohol is seen being served and consumed.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some newsreel footage is shown of wars and conflicts. A married couple has loud arguments which sometimes become slightly physical.

  • An older widowed woman marries a much younger man; he himself admits the relationship is sexless. One day, when she returns early to their hotel room, he is discovered to be gay when she catches him in bed with his male lover.
