Interesting cgi concepts but not too much from there

This movie is a complete mess Warning: Spoilers
My reaction while watching this movie was almost the same one that Krusty the clown after seeing "Worker and Parasite": This movie is a muddled mess from beginning to end, and there were several moments when I thought this was actually a compilation of cutscenes from a video game due the weird and confusing narrative where neither the plot, characters or setting are properly introduced. Instead of that, we got a mishmash of stuff happening for no reason, lots of clichés and scenes that almost seem plagiarized from blockbusters like The Lord of the Rings movies and The Avengers.

Maybe the most disappointing part of all of this is that despite how bizarre this movie could be at moments, it also manages to be quite dull, mostly because of the forgettable characters and predictable pattern of the plot.

I believe that a good direction, the use of well-known elements and interesting characters is able to turn the most overused plots into something enjoyable, but sadly this movie has nothing of that on its favor. The bad CGI and some rather questionable characters designs certainly doesn't help very much.

I think the only positive aspect from this movie was Warrior, the pet dog of the main character, which somehow managed to be more endearing than the rest of the cast from this dreadful mess.

decent animated adventure romp

this is an interesting story which was put together well. the animation is pretty good.

the story is a bit jumpy and it wasn't always clear who were the goodies and who were the baddies (they were baddies but it wasn't clear why.

I gave it a seven for overall effect and enjoyment but there were a couple of problems for me in what was essentially a Lord of the rings type of story-line (Frodo's bit anyway).

my main issue was the heroine wasn't the most easy to identify with, she was a bit too passive, in fact she seemed more a children's film character.

The impact of this was it was like a kiddies gore fest, a children's film with some quite respectable chopping and grinding of bodies. still worth the effort though.

Good e cute...

Excellent graphic, except for the slowness of human movements, (perhaps intentional), beautiful soundtrack (especially the children's voice), mention of great names of humanity, the monsters carefully cut, detailed and attractive, despite being horrifying, the characters captivating, cute the little girl and her warrior dog, delight to watch...
