More Toilets, More Terror: The Making of Ghoulies II (2015)
*** (out of 4)
Nice 17-minute featurette has producer Charles Band, special effects artist Gino Crognale and actors Kerry Remsen and Donnie Jeffcoat talking about their work on the 1988 film GHOULIES II. Band starts off the conversation talking about it being a no- brainer that a sequel would be made considering how much money the first made. From here we hear from the two actors discussing how they got the parts and what was expected from them. Crognale talks about watching the first film and jumping at the opportunity of making a sequel. Overall this is another winning from Shout Factory! as we get plenty of nice stories and there's no question that it's fun seeing the two actors as they are now. This featurette isn't nearly as great as the one for the original film and it's too bad more wasn't discussed including the editing of the film to get a PG-13 rating. Either way, fans will still want to check it out.
