Fight for ...
kosmasp17 April 2022
I hope you are going to be able to watch the original version of this and not the dubbed (in my case German) version. Now the streaming service I watched it with had the original audio, but while it did state that it would have subtitles, those were only available for a chanting ritual ... which really did not help at all. So I had to watch this dubbed and let me tell you: it is a crime! Germany has one of the best dubbing industries in the world, but you wouldn't know watching this.

So if you watched the lacklustre German version, do not blame the movie for it. It's not its fault, plain and simple. Back to the movie thought - a movie that is more than predictable and has quite a few cliches surrounding it. What makes up for it? The intriguing nature story and the fighting/stunts! Those are quite amazing to say the least! Really well done and you almost feel like the impacts and the devastation it causes are real! Add to that a fire scene that looks beautiful, while being harrowing at the same time. If you boil it down to the action it is even better than what I gave it ... but the story is dissapointing - at least a little bit, in the end.

Better than a lot of lazy movies out there.

As a novel adaptation, this is much better than the boring and forgettable love stories of this era. Although sometimes lackluster in the CGI, action is thrilling and throws a very unique twist in the superhero genre. Especially with comedy superhero movies like Cicakman and Badang, this one is a serious one. With a deep plot woven into the film, the action which is dazzling and shows much on the culture in Sabah. Although, the acting sometimes could be a let-down, some strong perfomances like Nabila Huda and Faizal Hussein are ones to remember. 7/10

Boring Movie
olcayozfirat7 May 2019
I congratulate their courage for filmmaking. But the film was generally boring. There were unnecessary long fighting scenes. There were plenty of slow motion scenes. The aunt of sorceress spoke long. And how bad was his face? I don't like it very much.

A Tarzan Malaysian version
mohdaqif9 April 2018
This is the first time I seen this movie on MBO Cinemas Kuantan. Zul Ariffin did great job on this movie. Usually Farid Kamil and Zul Ariffin also great chemistry since J Revolusi, who got won on AME2018 awards. Nabila Huda's also great actor as a reporter, such as Tania Hudson (Abang Long Fadil 2). I haven't seen Titian Cinta on TV3 yet, but people who likes this drama because of Zul Ariffin.

The CGI version also great too, such as a vines, branch, thunder lighting, including the main actor. Michael Chen, who stars as the bad guy, which is great. Hasol Rahmat also stars as the bad guy, also good too. The cinematography looks great, which is shooting at Sabah. Next, Ramlee Awang Mushid also make an adaptation from novel to drama series called Mandatori, is on Astro First, which is also great too.

Lastly, I need to say this, Malaysian needs to watch this movie rather than this Malaysian love stories such as TV3 or Astro. Great job Ramlee!
