    • Trivia
Howard Straus, who appears throughout this film, is the grandson of Max Gerson, developer of the discredited cancer "treatment," the so-called "Gerson Therapy". The Gersons claim that cancer is caused by "toxins" in food that create an imbalance of potassium and sodium in the body. The alleged method for "curing" this problem is an extremely low sodium-high potassium diet including lots of juiced raw and/or organic fruits and vegetables, massive amounts of vitamin supplements, and enemas of coffee, castor oil, hydrogen peroxide, or ozone. This treatment is supposed to flush out the "toxins" and "repair" the liver. Most of the "research" supporting the therapy is in the form of case studies by Max Gerson. The National Cancer Institute reviewed some of his case studies and found the method to be ineffective. Furthermore, the American Cancer Society has issued warnings that the method can be harmful and there have been reports of comas, seizures, and death resulting from extremely low sodium levels and imbalance of electrolytes in the patients undergoing the "therapy".

    Worth every minute!

I was somewhat curious about this film at first and so I watched it because I think we are all interested in being healthy. Everything that was revealed in the film makes total sense. I am surprised that no one thought of this before because it really fits in with the balance of nature.

As a child, I never wore shoes. I went barefoot everywhere and guess what? I never got sick either. As I got older, I started wearing shoes and rarely got into the dirt as most of us do when we mature. Had I known all about what this film tries to inculcate into people when I started wearing shoes, I would have kept them off. The earth truly does supply the human body with its own kind of remedies.

This film is mind boggling. I highly recommend that everyone watch this with an open mind.
