Few good ideas. I enjoyed the musical score and some of the acting wasn't bad.

But, it was such an incredibly dumb movie in so many groan out loud ways (too many to list) that it shatters any sense of escapism or interest early on.

Still, I've watched much, much worse. Especially recently!

If this kind of horror floats your boat then give it a go, me personally...... I'd find something else.

Tediously boring virtually from beginning to the end. Whats with the vaping - Death by vape what a crock!

Awful acting from the off with the possible exception of the Noomi Rapace lookalike. Digital cameras embedded in yer heid full of acid? C'mon who thought this turkey up and wrote this totality of tragic tosh needs to go back to writing school.

The whole premise has been done to death its like a bad merging of The Purge and Hostel with non of the talent of either in any area!

Its one of those "wish i had listened to the 1/10 reviews". Nuff said; watch it at your peril!

The premise and story was fun, but the constant rotating pan shots took me out of the movie.

I've gone through the "good reviews" about this film,and I'm going to assume that most (if not ALL) were written by someone who was involved with making this train wreck of ANOTHER "Let's Play a Game" horror movie. There isn't ONE character you care about...AT ALL! The sadistic people watching these people trapped (with cameras mounted to their foreheads...which is HILARIOUS by the way) are more fun to root for than the Human GoPro characters! If you want to kill an hour and a half,and have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE TO DO,then give it a watch. I HAVE seen worse movies than this...but not by much. But if you end up saying "Jeesh! I just wasted part of my life on this."...don't say I didn't warn you.

I don't think I've ever seen an exposition dump like in this movie. In the first minutes, we litterally have some guy saying to the audience "This is character A, he"s stong. This is character B, she's smart"...etc.

Clearly, the most scary thing in this movie was the acting. Beyond atrocious !

This movie looks like a (bad) student project. I couldn't tell you about the plot, as I couldn't give any sh** about it, and I couldn't go past the 1-hour mark.

Don't watch.

There is almost nothing to like in this movie. The set up and plot is something you have seen before, but this is probably the worst iteration of it I have ever come across. The concept of the cameras in their head could have /maybe/ been cool it 1) the makeup effects were any good. It didn't even look remotely like a camera lens, and it definitely didn't appear to actually be in their head, meerly pasted to it, and 2) if they had actually used that gimmick to steer the direction in a new direction. But they only show about two shots in the whole film that are supposedly from those cameras. If you're going to have a gimmick at least use it! Furthermore, when the camera is removed from the winner there should be a massive scar left from the giant hole that would have been made to insert the camera and yet none exists.

The script is contrived and offers nothing in the way of story or character development. It's the typical paint-by-numbers for movies like these. The acting is bland and basic. There arent even any good kills to keep this movie enjoyable or worth watching. I can forgive a lot of terrible things in a movie if they have some good, gory and entertaining kills. This movie has none of that. It fails at every level of filmmaking. First and foremost, it fails to be even the slightest bit entertaining. Not even worth a watch to waste time.

I guess the camera stayed in focus, so a star for that I guess.

Headgame is one of those horror movies that falls into the sub genre I adore. Where you have a series of people who wake up and are forced to play a deadly game (Such as SAW, Cube, Circle and The Human Race)

Upon realising that's what this is I became rather excited. It tells the story of a group who wake up with camera's attached their foreheads. If they tamper with it they will get shocked, if they remove it the vial of acid set within will kill them.

They are told that only one can survive and that the exit will not open until there is only one survivor. So you know the drill, all hell breaks loose.

Trouble is I think the "Hell" occurs too fast and it's all rather uninventive. Then we have the finale which is multi-tiered and it's a real mixed bag.

You see I'm not sure if I like it, I think that because of the concept (Which is actually quite good) this really needs to become a franchise.

The likelihood of a Headgame 2 is pretty damn remote and that's a shame as this being a single standalone movie it simply isn't meeting its potential.

Headgame is a watchable effort for fans of the subgenre but is just above average compared to others.

Things I Learnt From This Movie:

Having a lense attached to your head comple with vial of acid will leave no scarring or marks of any sort

Don't watch it it's straight garbage. All the the reviews that give it a higher score are fake

Great acting and even better directing for this film, really draws you in and you never know what to expect. I enjoyed the depth of the story in this horror film that you don't see too often in this genre.

I've noticed the people who give 1's and 2's to an ok scary movie aren't really massive fans of the horror genre. However to be fair as well I would have scored this movie a lot lower if not for the surprise twist at the end. Worth an extra 4 or 5 out of 10. There is absolutely no way anyone could have seen it coming. I do agree that it had its tedious moments and plot holes but then again It was saved by the ending. I say give it a watch if you're feeling spoilt for choice, you won't walk away disappointed.

...of time! This is one of the genres I like the most, so I've seen quite a few. But this one cannot be described simply as bad. On top of that, it's embarrassing, the plot sucks, the comment are utter shite, the acting is OMG soooo bad. It's right up there with that Bret Michaels self-directed/self-produced/self-acted film. Unbelievably bad!

All the great reviews this film as received on IMDB must have been written by the actors and people involved in the making of the film......that's the only reason i can come up with for them ....terrible film

I enjoyed watching this more than the latest Jigsaw (2017) movie. it's predictable, low-budget stuff but if you are after a fun, watch-with-a-friend, low-expectation flick, then give this a go. I mostly look forward to reading others' reviews, mostly

Plot holes, bad storytelling, continuity errors, bad acting and bad writing. Not even worth watching to make fun of.... I wish i could gice negative stars to counteract the fake reviews on here.

There are certain types of films I watch after an evening out. Usually low budget, horror genre, not high rating. The sort of films where you know what you are getting and that's what you get - usually gruesome, not brilliantly acted, minimal storyline but the effect is fun/ engaging/ entertaining and fill 90 mins.

This film was none of that! It was dull, badly acted and even worse effects than if I'd tried with a pair of scissors and sticky back plastic.

It's rare I write a bad review - just because I didn't like something doesn't mean it's bad, but on this occasion - this is BAD.

AVOID! Sorry but it's bad.

With all the other reviews it just sounds like Battle Royale in ways. At least I will not need subtitles.
