This was a great film. Full of drama and action non-stop! Dan Burman was brilliant in this (bit of a fan) and the camera work was so good. I recommend people of all ages to watch this.

Imagine is a 2015 short film Written by John F. McDonald and directed by Carl Mason.
The story of this film follows a young girl called Millie, who dreams of being a dancer but has a rare incurable disease called Niemann Pick Type C which cause a neurological decline and dementia.
This film is a brilliantly written film which increases the awareness of this rare disease. A lien which is repeatedly used in the film is "I'm 10 years old.." And the use of the repetition is to emphasis the fact Millie will always be 10 and at the end of the film when we see her dancing, it is both heartbreaking and beautiful.
Carl Mason does a fantastic job directing this film, it is shot amazingly especially the dance at the end of the film where the music kicks in and you really feel sympathy for this young girl. It is a well paced 10 minute film which is able to express its message but without rushing it.
The only problem I have with this film is the actor who plays the father I thought that could have done more and been more emotional in the climatic moments.
Overall this a film which I think people should see because it opens your mind up and inspires you to do your dreams. I give this film 8/10.

a film about a case for who the only coherent speech is the silence. a girl. her parents. a terrible medical verdict. the hope, the sufferance, the pain, her dream. and the ten years old. forever. result - one of impressive expressions of courage from Carl Mason. because it is not easy to preserve the right tone about the subject. because only a parent could understand the drama of case. because the film gives the perfect answer to the fear to be a pathetic short movie. because the tragedy is reduced at its essence. and the film becomes more than a chronicle of sickness but wonderful portrait of the force of family. the scene of dance remains memorable. because it is the obvious sign of victory against illness, against degradation, against death. a real admirable work.
