Star Butterfly is at it again!
adampkalb7 June 2017
Star's antics in these episodes never fail to disappoint. In Monster Arm, she tries to heal Marco's arm so he can beat Jeremy Birnbaum in karate, but accidentally turns it into a tentacle monster and needs to find a spell to change it back. In The Other Exchange Student, Star Butterfly has already been on Earth for 47 days, but gets jealous when Gustav comes in and Marco's parents pay more attention to him. She thinks Gustav is going to eat them up!

Warning: Spoilers
"Monster Arm": I really do love this episode. I just love the way Marco has this well, monster arm and how well the animation works. I thought that they were just going to show him get injured or something at the end but they really didn't. Was this meant to be an analogy for steroids? I love how the monster is defeated as they actually make use of all the arms Star accidentally creates. I'm glad that Marco is advancing with his karate. This episode features Star trying to heal Marco's arm but she accidentally turns it into a tentacle. I believe this is also Janna's first appearance. ****

"The Other Exchange Student": I admit this wasn't that great of an episode. I do however still love it. Why? Because just seeing Star go increasingly insane from trying to find out about all the bad things Gustav has done just cracks me up. She's known for being so happy so being in a truly aggressive state just looks so funny. I also love the ending where Gustav says she'll do anything for him so she simply does the simple thing and makes him leave. ***1/2
