Prostitutes are seen throughout the first season. One episode is dedicated to Lucky Luciano's prostitution ring. However no sex or nudity occurs. Just kissing and scantily dressed women.

Many murders take place in the show. Often showing blood and mild gore. People are shot, stabbed, brutally beaten, etc.

A man is shot by Frank Costello and a young Luciano beats the man's face off-screen to recover his gold fillings.

A man is shot in a restaurant while eating lunch. Blood splatters on the wall.

A man is shot and stabbed by men who are pretending to be IRS agents.

A man is shot multiple times in a barber shop. Blood and bullet wounds are seen.

Lucky Luciano is beaten severely by Maranzano and left for dead. He surives.

Mild profanity used throughout. Hell, damn, shit etc.

Prohibition is a major theme in the show and alcohol is both distributed and consumed.

Due to the time era almost every character is seen smoking either cigarettes, cigars or pipes.

Almost all of the violence is intense as well as the characters in the show. Portrayed as men who let nothing stand in their way and would kill to get it.
