The Making of Willow Creek (2014)

*** (out of 4)

This making-of featurette can be found on the WILLOW CREEK DVD or Blu-ray. If you're looking for a traditional making-of then you might be disappointed. Pretty much what you get here is actor Bryce Johnson holding the camera as director Bobcat Goldthwait and other members of the crew try to make Bigfoot prints in the sand. If you've seen the movie then you're going to know the scene this is used for and it's mildly entertaining watching them trying to get everything set up for the shot. If you're a fan of the movie then I'm sure you're going to enjoy this behind-the-scenes look. With that said, it's really too bad there wasn't a more detailed documentary made about the making of the film. After all, it was shot in five days so it would have been interesting seeing how everything was pulled together in such a short amount of time and without much money.
