At first I was checking on the reviews of this movie, they were like odd, mixed reviews so then I thought not to watch this movie cause i'm Sharvanandh's fan and I don't like to watch his going down......but my friend urged me to watch this movie. U know what the movie is SUPERB, the cast was really well chosen by the director, I mean to say about the mother of our hero and also our heroine and her friend. At first I was like this movie is such a drag...............but slowly it became interesting....I love the dialogues in this movie....u know what...nithya explains a different meaning about Sex...Love....Life...Those words like AWESOME!!!!!!! I like the very much and I don't want others to miss this beautiful movie.....2nd half shows about their passion towards their LOVE.....very inspirational to the lovers who are going to celebrate Valatine's day.........!!!!!!!!

Very Awesome Movie

I saw this movie in two days with half part one day and another half part next day in You tube, the story of the movie is really excellent. It gives an immense pleasure while watching the movie, curiosity continues from start to ending. It gives a beautiful definition of love. Screenplay is excellent. Every character did their best. Sharvanand looks exceptional, and Nithya menan so classic. Its a good and heart touching movie... Good definition of LOVE.... The characters of Nazer and Nazira daughter are bit weird in the movie... but it is negligible compared with other good aspects of the movie.... Really worth to watch it.... By the way this is my first IMDb review... I created IMDb account just to rate and review about this MOVIE, Friends if someone missed watching kindly watch it... You feel worth of watching it.... See you all...

To start with the review, the first thing we have to talk about is about Sharwanand ! Thanks to him for doing meaningful movies with a very good dose of entertainment ! After RUN RAJA RUN..one can expect him to stay in the mark he is...but this time, he crosses the line...and satisfies us more than we expect ! He looks fantastic in this film....his expressions and his dialogs are major plus points ! Nitya Menon...who is also known for doing Family Entertainers, gives a striking performance...one cannot imagine any other girl to replace her ! She is apt for a role of a Muslim Girl....it's not too easy to deliver right expressions just with eyes...viewers will get themselves glued to her eyes ! She get's a matured role and yes....she is 100% apt for it ! Performance wise, everyone did their best ! A few cute moments will be liked by each and everyone ! Next thing we have to talk about is Story ! Story is completely classy and will be liked by many ! Screenplay is excellent...and keeps us engaged throughout the film ! Direction is extra ordinary too....Kranthi Madhav really showed himself this time with a greater appeal ! Many people (especially people from A centers) will feel highly romantic in few scenes...this might be the best choice to go with their best partners...or with a family ! Cinematography is the best thing happened to this movie ! With almost a standard of crystal visuals, it showcases each and every frame in a colorful manner ! Cinematographer needs to tap his back for doing such a fantastic job ! Editing is good...but a few shots (just of a couple of seconds) could have been trimmed to avoid jerks in the film ! Dialogues and lyrics penned are highly meaningful....and will just add more beauty to the film ! Songs are very very very good....for such a classy film, Songs are need to be melodious which it is ! Picturization is also very good...except a song pops in wrong timing...however, if something sounds melodious...then why to feel disturbance ? Background Score is outstanding and we hum music even when we step out of auditorium ! Production values look very rich ! And to talk about drawbacks...there are a very few things like lack of clarity in characterization of Nazar, and so on....but they look very small when compared to the PROs of this movie ! On the whole, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju is a complete classy movie which is too clean ! Enjoy this movie with your family or your best buddies...if you like romantic movies, and if you can ignore regular commercial popcorn stuff, then don't dare to miss this !

A criminally underrated film!

If there is a huge positive that I received during the lockdown period, it is this!

Despite being a classic UPaiyya, I love Telugu movies. They're class apart, and it was during one of my routine raids for authentic Telugu movies, that I saw a movie review on this by YouTube reviewer Pratik Borade.

I had heard about Nithya Menen from Mission Mangal, but never did I realize that she was such a fantastic actress. Those expressive eyes could make anyone fall in love with them, and boy was she outstanding!

The chemistry between Nithya and the hero Sharwanand is almost flawless. The way they express their feelings, it's almost hard to find such clean, no nonsense romantic movies these days. I guess K Kranthi Madhav achieved the impossible - Telling things the simple way, and I laughed at the very thought that this is the same guy who made a rather forgettable World Famous Lover.

The best part about the film is that it doesn't mock Bharatiya Sanskriti in order to sound cool. Also, the reverse case of a Hindu boy falling in love with a Muslim girl and not mocking his own culture will bound to piss off some folks. But haters gonna hate.

If you've not seen this, what are you doing? True lovers will find this as a heavenly experience. I wish I was fortunate enough to watch this in theatres.

Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju is a feel good love story which stays within your heart. Sharwananad and Nithya Menen's mind blowing performance and the emotional content are basic Postive points. All those who like coming of age love stories and do not mind the slow pace will definitely end up liking this film.

What makes a movie good? you may say good story, great acting, beautiful music, good narration etc. This movie fares average in most of these aspects; average story, decent music, apt acting from the lead pair, still I consider it as a great movie with major credit to the dialogues. yes, it's the dialogues of the movie which makes the ordinary and already seen story look beautiful.

Nitya and Sarwanand acting is just awesome in the two different roles, young and old. The cinematography is top notch. Every frame looks beautiful complemented by the pleasant background music, giving a pleasant feeling throughout the movie. Though the story may seem unrealistic and too ideal which is the prime quality of many classic, it suits the movie very well.

A must watch for the great acting of the lead pair, and the memorable dialogues. Hats off to dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra.

Regretting for missing this movie on release

One of the purest love stories ever. No skinshow, no intimate scene and not even a kiss but just pure love. No conflicts based on religion though different religion characters. Beautiful music. Performances are worth awards. Dialogues are forever remembering. Love the couple. Suspense in the second half adds the beauty and classyness of the film. Though underrated still a must watch.

Good cinematography and visuals; weird, unrealistic story

The cinematography was really good. Nitya Menen looks beautiful and Sharwanand looks handsome. The love story starts out sweetly. They show good chemistry on the screen. However, as the story goes on, it becomes very unrealistic. For so many of the scenes, I was just sitting there shaking my head. How can I believe that Nitya's father shot himself right when he heard the news about her love matter? Who is that rash?? Or Nitya's sacrifice of her love because her father killed himself. First of all, she says she won't give up her love; then her dad shoots himself; now she says since my dad is dead, I'll give up my love. WHAT. Also, Nitya Menen's daughter's character is so forced. Obviously, the writers wanted to make a point that having boyfriends and doing things with them before marriage is a horrible sin, so they make this daughter character totally bad and completely unbelievable. First of all, she is adopted by Nitya, so she has presumably been raised and taught values by her. Then, how did she become this chain-boyfriend ditching, instant pleasure seeking girl?? And only after she is completely grown, Nitya is telling her morals. And her talk about sex and love were totally cringe-worthy and laughable. Like, I would show it to my friend to show her how bad it is.

I watched Hindi dubbed movie. Never expected such a emotional live story. Bollywood recent love story like.. Jab tak he jan.. Laila Majnoo. Or sanam teri kasam. This movie beats all of them. Leading pair chemistry superb. Mom and son relationship shown so well. Main actor performs nicely Nithya speaks with her eyes. Mind-blowing Amazing beautiful. Movie with Heart touching scenes. True love Excellent dialogues Must watch this movie

If you want to sit back and relax for 2 hours, this is perfect love story from amazing pair of Sharwanand and Nithya Menon. No cinematic fights, no nuisance comedy. The story is so neat and cinematography is too good. It tries to break current society stereotype, a lot of lessons to be learned from this movie. Go ahead and watch it.

Movie of the decade! Never been moved by a love story this far, a million regards to the team. The dialogues reach to your soul and stays. Your eyes remain wet throughout no matter how strong you try. The story may sound like a fairytale, but in real, it is larger than that. Every character carries a larger character within, sometimes you give up on them, but they will win you back. Nitya Menon's eyes have added another dimension, unmatched performance, serene dialogue delivery. I have seen her in past, but this one will stay for long. Sarvanand needs no special mention, he is one actor who can speak volumes with silence. Finally, Kranthi Madhav "SIR", you set the new benchmark.

Cringe sports , love fusion movie

There is pointless sports angle and forced love story. Acting is decent, lead actor's acting is very terrible. Wonder who made him star hero as such. Nitya menon is savior, but making her act childish is so cringe. The whole is a cringe fest and wonder how it got 7 rating. The actor needs acting class and director needs better stories and filmmaking course. It's very immaturish to say the least and i'm only writing just to fill the gap with imdb, there is nothing genuinely good in the film to write about other than Nitya Menon. The sports angle is so pointless. The character has no maturity in anywhere.

Highly recommended movie.

Wonderful cinematography, location, emotions, expressions, tragedy, mystery. Simply I can say this is an awesome movie. I can say that you won't feel bore. Really heart touching story and acting. This movie deserve 8+ imdb ratings.
