One odd thing in a good story
mphervey6 January 2022
This is very good episode all around. All of the storylines are well written, especially the lawyer son trying to get his mother acquitted. After the trial, the conversation between him and Erin is really touching. But there is one odd thing that bothers me every time I see this episode. Danny and Maria are up for the Medal of Valor for their role in the events from episode 1 of this season. But throughout the entire episode, Frank is only concerned about Danny's name on the list and how that will look. I never hear him or anybody else consider Baez. They are partners, they were both in the situation, both in danger, both up for the Medal but Frank only cares about how it will look for Danny. Even Danny admits he doesnt care about the award, but I just found it very odd that no one ever says "but this would be very important to Baez and her family", especially her partner. Now, to be fair, I have only seen Blue Bloods in syndication, so there could be scenes missing. It is just something that puzzles me every time I see it, and it is the only thing "wrong" in an otherwise very good episode.

What you do for love
bkoganbing22 September 2016
Two main story lines involve what people will do for love. Joseph Siravo and Katherine Narducci are a married couple and Siravo kills an intruder in his home. Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez have the case and as it turns out the intruder was a well known contract killer. It's a question of who wants who dead. And the information to break this one comes from the Organized Crime Task Force and the victim's own girlfriend. It's also a question of why.

The second plot line involves Bridget Moynahan defending against young attorney Eric Todd who is saying that his mother was wrongfully convicted of participation in a robbery 11 years ago. Here Todd maybe new to the law, but he's good. Just how good were the police though?

My favorite scene is with Moynahan and Todd commiserating after their story is over. I think you'll like it as well.
