The whole season has been building to this and I was getting really excited... then the episode comes and it's just a bunch of talking and talking... very let down.
The final hour arrived and destiny has already unmasked to criminals. After 12 hours of amateur suspicions and conjectures, dark clouds have been struck down and finally, an undaunted dawn is going to appear—unfortunately, not for a long time.
July 2015: Ryan Murphy claims that only four characters will come out alive of the massacre at the University Wallace. While weekly, a death—important or not— was executed, the fear of killing the major leads was palpable, however, it compared to shows of its kind, gave us pleasant surprises. Now everything is finished, we have to do a count of survivors and deaths, and by a big variant, Murphy's promise is really distant of being true: Grace: The most rational head in Kappa Kappa Tau manages to come out victorious, setting up the sisterhood of her dreams, a free place of vanities and pretensions, where any girl can earn a space in the regenerated house. Zayday: Although she is still a potential suspect for Denise, Williams is appointed as vice president of the sisterhood and shares command for erecting a free family of secrets and killers. Chanel Oberlin, Chanel No. 3 and Chanel No. 5: Literally, they are not openly alive since they were committed to a psychiatric hospital for being allegedly responsible for killings. Wes: Grace's overprotective father insinuates to has a hard- wearing and passionate affair with the dean of the university. Dean Munsch: Our Michael Myers/Teen Wolf/Rasputin has succeeded in escaping unscathed—and she will possibly continue alive due to her immortality—from all that madness. That does not mean that her hands have not been spotted with human blood. Chad Radwell: President of Dickie Dollar Scholars fraternity, suddenly reappears with an abhorrent loving streak, nevertheless, he continues being the leader of his community, donating money to an organization—which organization in specific? The organization.— Denise Hemphill: Mama Denise should leave past behind and go to "Quantico" (The TV Series) for becoming a real police officer. And finally, Hester: This girl is let off the hook. With regard to the multitude of deaths that the series provided, some of the best ones were played by supporting characters, while the others were partially broadcasted on screen. Sophia Doyle: Who caused all this comical chaos, Agatha Bean: Channels' maid, Sonya Herfmann: the first victim of the murderer, Tiffany DeSalle, Shondell, Mandy Greenwell, Dodger & Roger-still it is complicated to distinguish them-, Caulfield Mount Herman, Sam, Steven Munsch, Jennifer, Mary and Earl Grey: the loving interest of Zayday, Truck Driver, Boone, Gigi, Mall cop, Amy, Pete, Zak, the original mascot and beloved Coney. All of them add up a total of 23 deaths, an average of two characters per episode, taking into account its relation with comedy genre is quite acceptable.
So this is the final score, the dark past has been left behind, but it hints to return for an exciting second season, this time, the paradisaical set will be an insensible hospital. "Scream Queens" was what we expected of it, a ridiculous slasher comedy, where everyone have a happy final—Yes, Chanel Oberlin too,— the red killers have been exterminated and nobody would obstruct their paths now, nevertheless, the killer always should give the final blow, as a recurrent horror cliché. It seems logical that Hester would struck again to finish with all the channels, but if Zayday was the real killer would be more suggestive. If that happens, Denise Hemphill would be a true private agent—seeing it from another perspective, this one doesn't sound far-fetched.— As a comedy series, the first season shines to kilometers, finding a balance between dangerous black humor and pure comedy. The majority of its characters have a unique comical load, and no one of them is similar to the others— except Doger and Roger, but you know,— demonstrating with an incredible story, a really remarkable writing. As horror series, it does not fulfill even basic standards to be categorized as "horror", it would be more a thriller with a killer touch. In terms of drama, this is the main blind point in the show. Since all spectators moved their eyes closer to the funniest moments, drama weight after a death or a given situation was as absurd as credible. However, being a series more oriented the superficial, this is overrated. As its characters, the technical and visual aspects are really special. Pink tones, scenarios textures, clothing tonality, the depth of the music, the musical accompaniment in general and thousands of things are at a higher level of the imagined. The cast was another certain strengths. From Emma Roberts to Jamie Lee Curtis, from Ariana Grande to Nick Jonas, from Keke Palmer to Niecy Nash; everybody, mostly interpreted amusingly smart and measured roles, major leads clearly stand out. "Scream Queens" has a great potential for becoming the new anthology of Murphy and his henchmen, nevertheless, the next time that killer makes his appearance must be considered duration, permanence, and innovation issues. A possible return already is guaranteed, however, what most frightens us is not the brutal new killer, but Ryan Murphy', Brad Falchuk' and Ian Brennan's dangerous minds.

- QuizIn the final scenes, Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) has her hair styled like Princess Leia in Guerre stellari (1977), having the hair buns in place of her trademark earmuffs. Lourd is the real-life daughter of Carrie Fisher, who plays Princess Leia in the film and its sequels.
- BlooperWhen the Chanels are walking out of the courtroom. Chanel #5 is on Chanel Oberlin's right. When it cuts to a wider angle, she is now behind one of the deputies and mostly hidden from view. However, when it cuts back to a close angle, she is right next to Chanel Oberlin again.
