I'm wondering why there were yellow fever vaccinations when yellow fever isn't found in South Africa (as a South African I got the vaccine when I visited Argentina, and I know for some of North/West Africa it's required, but not South Africa. Why was this not checked?

Also mini golf tournaments are not a thing in South Africa, particularly not in Johannesburg where there is one whole course and it's not a great one.

For a show that apparently had a bunch of scientists and fact checkers how could they not even surface level Google either thing?

I mean it's not hard to swap out yellow fever vaccinations with anti malarial medication that takes a few weeks to ramp up.

The episode overall is nothing special, neither good nor bad, as far as the case itself. Brennan trying to track her father was ridiculous. He's been nothing but helpful to her and Christine and he's an adult, he doesn't have to tell her where he's going. (Granted, it ended up being sketchy, but that's still not Brennan's problem.)

But the reason I'm commenting is because Andie is *creepy*. I love Wendall. He's a great character and the actor is so good in that roll. He's so sweet and wonderful. Andie was super weird from the beginning with how seriously she took their relationship, like from zero to one hundred from the start. And her intensity with the clock, how it's now "their" clock and marking their time together, the look in her eyes was really creepy. That relationship feels manipulative, like she was taking care of him and pushed herself on a vulnerable person.

An episode that features the wild world of mini-golf. A top player has been found, thrown off a balcony. Booth and Bones go to a tournament, barging in on the people who are playing. Their boorish behavior doesn't for a minute take into account the feelings of the golfers. Booth, of course, doesn't see it as macho enough and Brennan can't avoid stomping all over the place. It's not that it's mini-golf; the fact is that the people there thought it was important. They even have championships. Then we have Brennan's old man leaving without telling her the details (he did tell her he was going to be gone for a couple days). Isn't it time for her to done with her childish behavior. She doesn't have to forgive him, even though he bends over backward to be of service to her and her little girl. Then she walks into the lab like grizzly bear, tearing people apart with her ugly tongue. Oh, there's also a thing about a broken clock.

The writers are on sabbatical apparently and someone made up this drivel as a filler project ... no rating for a nothing show
