I think the movie deserves better than the average score it got on here. It's an interesting movie with a big twist. The story revolves around three friends, two guys and a girl, one of whom becomes a star. The style is pretty artistic and the acting is okay to very good. I was impressed with how Masaki Suda portrayed the less-talented, less clever friend who has to watch the other's rise. The story deals with familiar feelings like jealousy and also some darker themes which were handled well. The ending left me satisfied as someone who likes psychological drama. Overall, a good watch!

Interesting drama, a bit confusing

A movie about two childhood friends getting into showbusiness at the same time, one being more successful than the other, which puts a strain on their relationship. This is only half of the story though, there are lots of other things going on but it's hard to talk about it without spoiling something. I did like the performances. But ultimately I found the story (or the moral of the story) a little bit confusing because I didn't quite get what motivated some of the main protagonists to some of their rather drastic actions.
