Homer get fatter. What a relief!!!

Homer getting fatter in an episode is what I never thought would be aired on TV. I climbed a ladder to happiness when it showed up. Some parts were not understandable, 2.0 points off. Some parts were nonsense, 1.0 points off. 7.0.i just wanted to tell you that this is a really weird, funny, episode.

It was kinda lame but good.i watched it with my brother. The voice of the guy on the scooter was kinda like Apu,skinner, and super attendant Chalmers all mixed together.

I did like it. But I have a hard time realizing that moeman was the mayor of Springfield. The episode was good and all, but, not the best.

A Fun and Very Musical Episode,
lesleyharris3031 March 2015
Walking Big & Tall is a great Simpsons episode with a well written storyline and plenty of very funny scenes. It is quite a musical episode as well and I enjoyed the songs that were featured in it, particularly the one that Bart, Lisa and several other children of Springfield Elementary sing. I also really appreciated the cameo appearance by Pharrell Williams, it was funny and very brief, that's how I prefer guest stars to be unless they are playing a different character, I don't want to see more episodes with singers like Lady Gaga in the main role. Walking Big & Tall is a fun and very enjoyable Simpsons episode.

The proud residents of Springfield are outraged when they learn their town anthem was pinched from a musician.

I liked it

I thought this was their best one of the season so far, proving that not only do they still have a creative taste for cartoon humor and violence, but they also still know how to tell a charming story in the midst of all the mayhem.

I was particularly intrigued by the fact that they handled this weeks guest with the proper guest star treatment, instead of making the entire episode about them. I had to make it clear to some people on Facebook that this episode does not revolve around the guest (cough cough Musk.)

Well done Simpsons. It's nice to see another town mob once more.

Holy Cow...Episode 565

Warning: Spoilers
So it turns out that Hans Moleman was once the mayor of Springfield! This episode is based on the history of Springfield's anthem and how its the same anthem used in about fifty other towns. It was interesting seeing the flashback at the beginning of the episode showing Moleman as mayor, a revealing part of his background we knew nothing about.

So Bart and Lisa write a new town anthem which is praised and loved by almost everyone. Homer gets stuck in his theater seat, causing him to join a group of fat people who love being fat. Pretty funny stuff.

I think the episode was for the most part, very fresh towards the beginning, then after the first act, it was old news. I have seen Homer in groups so many times. The story about the plagiarized anthem and Hans Moleman was the best part of the entire episode.

Great episode

This episode is mostly about being overweight and how hard it can be to get rid of the extra weight. Homer joins a group of overweight, but unlike what Marge suspect, it's not a group for losing weight...

Being a bit on the chubby side myself I could relate a lot to this episode and it touches upon the subject in a nice way without making the entire episode dull nor necessarily making obese people look lazy and stupid.

This was a great improvement from previous episode "The Musk Who Fell to Earth" who was in my opinion the worst episode in the history of the Simpsons.
