This was an interesting interruption. Imagine being in constant contact with a group of people you didn't even know before the trial. Imagine the general consensus was that you'd be done in a couple months. Imaginable you can't watch television or read magazines or talk to others. Then, just being away from your family and home for all that time. Finally, there is a kind of claustrophobia that happens. Then, throw into it the lawyers using you as pawns, looking into everything you ever did, checking whether you made a mistake or flat out lied on your application. This episode shows more dirty tricks and manipulation. And, again, the racial thing is engaged, as the jury pool is being drawn upon to get an advantage.

Civil service? Or a prison sentence?
Mr-Fusion5 April 2017
'A Jury in Jail', although not as scintillating as prior episodes is still solid and exposes the quiet sufferers in this trial: those forced to offer a verdict. Not only do they shoulder the weight of a murder trial, but the draconian restrictions (eight whole months) are enough to drive any of us mad. Even the deputies are more like prison guards; it's a brilliant way to stage the episode which also has one of the season's best openers.

The other real notable is just a single like (from Gil Garcetti) but really emphasizes the glove's shadow looming over the prosecution; that no amount of DNA science can win a case like a bloody glove. And we all know that sobering reality.

You are Not Enemy to Each Other, Dear Solicitors! You Work for Justice!..
hamidullahgenc3 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
All the judicial process is well-portrayed in this episode. The corruptive moves, the beneficent efforts... all!.. This is a "8,8." Do it better, gentlemen!.. :)

Just when we said the true friendship 'd last beyond speculation, Mr. Kardashian started having not second but third thoughts as well. Who could blame him, actually. Nearly all U.S. of America has turned against your dear friend, and all he (Mr. Kardashian) does is go against the present evidence. Not many people could do that this long... So, "true friendship" still wins no matter what the verdict be... Still, David Schwimmer seized the opportunity so nicely!.. Wow!

When looking at the evidence, the DNA says it is O.J. Simpson. Yeah. And it is one-in-17-million-people kind of hard evidence... But let's hear this:

What if it is mere coincidence?..

What if there was a "third party" who took blood from O.J. and the victims Mr. Ron and Ms. Nicole while they were unconscious one time, and kept it pure and fresh until the night of the happenings so that they could frame O.J.?..

O yeah, there is the Ocham's razor... But hey, if Mark Fuhrman is a hidden Nazi / racist, and he still says he is okay; then the court would have to see the possibility that O.J. is not framed.

Okay, only if the court finds out Mark Fuhrman is lying. Otherwise, if O.J. did it, or is he framed do not matter, and it is perfectly followed up by the work force at the court until the end.

The jury election / elimination seem so problematic by the way... If they act on race / hate, then they are not to be a part of the jurisdictional system. But it is hard to prove that, isn't it? Yep.

All need to act truthfully, so that after the verdict they could they did not hold themselves / anything back with respect to the justice...

I hope the truth reveals itself at the end. The truth...

P.S.: In Turkish we say "kardeş" for siblings as well as the dearest friends... And it can be written as "kardash" for English readers to be pronounced rightfully. Okay, I'll stop playing with words. Sorry.

The People vs. O.J. Simpson: A Jury in Jail (2016)

The trial is slowly coming to an end but it's still been going on too long for the jurors who start to grow tired of their surroundings. Soon one juror after another is coming under fire as Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson) and Johnnie Cochran (Courtney B. Vance) begin to play a match game trying to get the jury more into their favor.

Overall I think this is the weakest episode to date for the series but it's still pretty good in its own right. I thought the episode got off to a rather shaky start because the jurors are so annoying that you can't help but really dislike them. I'm not sure how true all the fighting was but the episode once again shines a spotlight on racial issues and it's just rather annoying. The episode slowly picks up once we get to Simpson wanting to testify and the mock questioning that he's given. Another great moment has Robert Kardashian (David Schwimmer) finally beginning to breakdown. Schwimmer has pretty much been in the background throughout the series but he does shine here when given the opportunity.

Episode: B+

great episode

Warning: Spoilers
The dynamics of the episode was very good.. well, actually no.. not much happened besides the jury getting annoyed and trying to run after so many months stuck at a hotel.. lol

funny they again needed to portray kris, bobbys ex wife.. again.. the kids in the background.. but by then, she was already married to bruce jenner.. that was nowhere to be found, conveniently out of the picture so robert could go into the house and chat with his ex wife..

marsha and the rest of the team barely appeared so we dont have much to talk about the case ... guess it was pretty much of a filler episode........

Jury Focused
Samuel-Shovel24 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
In this episode we focus upon a group that has largely been overlooked thus far in the series: the jury.

The way they dealt with this episode was... interesting. We've largely ignored these men & women for most of the series so far so an episode focused on them was overdue. However, the choice of jumping around in time all over different periods of the trial was a bit confusing and something I really didn't enjoy. I think I would have preferred to check in on these jurors periodically as the series went along. Instead we get a full episode based upon them where we see things through their perspective. In the span of 50 minutes, we meet these characters, get to know them, and watch as some of them walk straight out of the trial. It all just happened to quickly for me and almost felt like a filler episode as we near the end of the trial.
