Down and Dirty
Hitchcoc19 February 2017
The clerks working behind the scenes come up a distraction. One of the cops is asked by Cochran if he was aware of a term that meant the partial decapitation of a person by Colombian drug lords. You can see the defense giggling as this is presented. The idea is to get the jury to get caught up in this fraud and not focus on the evidence. Cochran is approached outside the courtroom and asked if the reports of his former spousal abuse were true. When he gets home, he calls his ex and tries to pay her off to keep her mouth shut. Not long after that this woman shows up and exposes his "double life." He blows a gasket. He gets some of his own treatment. He doesn't know who leaked this, but he suspects Shapiro who is really going rogue. But this leads us to the most significant event of the case. Marcia absolutely insists that Darden not have O.J. try on the bloody glove. It's way too risky. But Shapiro goes up and looks at the gloves and realizes that they are too small. But the prosecution has to ask this be done. To Marcia's shock, Darden has O.J. try them out. Most of us remember the results.

I wondered how long it'd take them to mention Frogmen

I'd be lying if I said this episode wasn't hard to watch, and it all comes don to the bloody gloves. One minute, they're damning evidence in the prosecution's case - the next, they sit in the courtroom as a judicial football. Again (twenty years' passing and whatnot), I can't speak to the accuracy of this episode, but those courtroom scenes are brilliant theater. And when we're not waiting for that ticking time-bomb to go off. The tension between Marcia Clark and Chris Darden is painful. And that's got nothing on the ending, which (as we all know)is devastating.

O.J. Simpson Will be as Happy as Larry?.. Nope! He is Grief-Stricken.
hamidullahgenc31 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Ms. Clark and Mr. Darden get real close but Mr. Darden wants it not to affect the work they do. For that, Ms. Clark goes rough on Mr. Darden, therefore this leads right into a trap that the defense set... Mr. Darden won't listen to Ms. Clark as he thinks it is just another of Ms. Clark's move to bring him into line... What a pity(!)

For better or worse, the defense- we mean Mr. Shapiro who still acts politically as he runs with the hare and hunts with the hounds- may have done something illegal; but the result is very eye-opening!..

The defense won't object to the request of Mr. Darden and O.J. Simpson will try the gloves on!.. Boom!

The result: the gloves won't match!.. O.J. Simpson may have "not" committed the crime after all!..

The most important thing in this episode is how a friend (Robert Kardashian) keeps his relation with his best friend no matter what people say about him. He, of course, tries to put all things in order in his head, but still, by doing this he does gives up his hope on "the accused" not.

This is what we all should admire, as today's friendships end in no time while they depend solely on the personal benefits. And this is well-portrayed in the longest and the most emotional scene by David Schwimmer had so far in the show. Good!..

Now we suspect if some LAPD officers had something to do with the double murders... But why is that O.J. doesn't speak about his theory?.. We'll get to that after the final episode. Oups!

I give this episode a "8.9". Very well!

"Not equal are the good deed and the evil deed. Repel with that which is fairer and behold, then lo! He between whom and thee there is enmity shall be as if he were a loyal friend." says the Gracious Koran in the 34th Verse of the 41th Chapter called "Explained in Detail."

The Real Murderer?

The People Vs. O.J. Simpson: Conspiracy Theories (2016)

While Marsha Clark (Sarah Paulson) and Chris Darden (Sterling K. Brown) take a weekend trip to unwind, their media circus picks up as Darden wants to put O.J. in the spotlight by making him try on the gloves that were found on the murder scene. While all of this is going on Robert Kardashian (David Schwimmer) begins to wonder why no other theories outside of O.J. being the killer seem possible.

As this series works towards the conclusion that everyone in America will be familiar with, it continues to really pick up speed in regards to drama and fireworks. There's no doubt that the series hit a home run in regards to the cast (except for O.J. but more on that in my series overview at the end of the series) and it continues to impress as Brown really gets to lead this episode. He's really turned Darden into a sympathetic character and someone who you really feel bad for. All of the right moves were hit in this episode as the in-fighting on the defense still packs a punch and it certainly paints a certain picture of the "real murderer" without having to be preachy. This episode is without question one of the best of the series.

Only the murderer could have framed OJ Simpson
jonodavidson22 March 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Although the defense presented a conspiracy theory of a racially motivated police conspiracy began immediately during the investigation, jury simply examined the time line evidence and they acquitted Simpson. They were not charged with explaining the evidence that exists or why it links OJ to the crime. The were charged with determining if the prosecution had met the burden of proof. The media coverage led everyone to jump to the conclusion that the jury was wrong, and OJ is guilty. The only way OJ could be innocent is if the murderer framed him initially. Only the murderer could have left a trail of blood evidence leading from the crime scene to OJ's car to OJ's house. The only way that the murderer could have gotten away with it is with the assistance of the LAPD, because the murderer nicked his wrist while cutting Nicole's throat and left a trail of blood drops along side the bloody shoe prints leaving the crime scene. In fact, the murderer could not have recognized his mistake at the time, or he would have bandaged the wound. He had to be involved with the investigation. Here is your spoiler, the conspiracy theory that no one talks about. Three people in the LAPD were all they required. Phil Vannatter, Robert Lange, and Dennis Fung. I really like Cuba Gooding's portrayal of OJ. Enjoy the series, and I hope you enjoy the spoiler.

more drama

Warning: Spoilers
Well, those first 15 minutes is a good example of female behavior.. ex wife was dealing with cochran and he was having a double life hooking up with other women.. and the actual wife did know about his past lol.. and she didnt care because dude was lit.. but she did care of being embarassed about the whole situation heheh

a man would never marry a woman that was hooking up with 2 guys at the same time prior.

Wait.. so shapiro just walked unsupervised and tried on the clothes like that??? Ok then..

and then when oj tried on the glothes.. dude, he was wearing latex gloves... it is similar to you trying to put on some jeans while wearing compression pants underneath instead of you regular underwear... unless you are wearing pants 2 times your size, it aint gonna fit.. it is gonna be hell of tight.

If the Gloves Don't Fit, You Must Acquit
Samuel-Shovel13 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
While this episode does have one of the more iconic images to ever occur in the history of a courtroom, the remainder of this episode is a bit of a let down. Much of this episode revolves around the relationship between Marcia and Darden. After spending practically the entire previous episode following Marcia around and learning about her persona life, I wanted the show to change gears a bit. Unfortunately that's not what we got. The ending is a great scene and I'm looking forward to see how the last few episodes shake out. How will they deal with the trial finale?
