Harlan Coben's series on Netflix are addictive, puzzling, quirky, mysterious, thrilling, and full of twists and turns. Expect more of the same coming your way soon. A new series from Netflix’s favorite thriller writer is set to launch later this month.

Caught was Coben’s tenth novel when released in 2010. It’s one of 14 of his books being dramatized for Netflix under a long-term deal between the platform and Coben. This one is a roller coaster of a thriller which will have you gripped. It looks set to be a strong binge-watch show.

As a quick scene setting, the show was filmed in Argentina and is Coben’s first Latin America set adaptation. That just adds a neat extra flavour to the show helping make it stand out from the crowd. The author again took on an Executive Producer role so we can be very confident of this being another high-quality drama.

Netflix's new series based on Harlan Coben's novels about the character Myron Bolitar got a major name as producer. Mega TV producer David E. Kelley (Lincoln Lawyer) will be collaborating with Coben as co-writers and co-executive producers, per Deadline.

Coben signed a deal with Netflix several years ago which has seen several of his books adapted as shows and upon renewing in 2022, Netflix got access to the 11 Bolitar novels and a novella called Win. Having Kelley team up with the author is perfect, as he already has Lincoln Lawyer streaming on Netflix, which is also based on the series of novels by Michael Connelly.

Exclusive: Emmy winner David E. Kelley, who created Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer based on Michael Connelly’s novels, is helping bring another popular book character by a bestselling author to the streamer. The prolific writer-producer has teamed with Harlan Coben to adapt his Myron Bolitar novels as a TV series, sources tell Deadline.

In addition to writing the script, Kelley and Coben are executive producing the potential series with David E. Kelley Prods. President Matthew Tinker. Netflix declined comment.

The project has been a priority for Netflix when it re-upped its overall deal with Coben in 2022. The original pact gave the streamer access to 14 Coben books to develop into English-language and foreign-language series as well as films. The 2022 pact added 12 more titles: Coben’s signature 11-book Myron Bolitar series as well as the standalone 2021 novella Win, for an adaptation as an ongoing, U.S.-based series.

Harlan Coben's latest adaptation continues a positive Netflix trend for the acclaimed writer and executive producer. Missing You, which debuted on January 1, is among the most-watched shows so far this year on the platform.

Per FlixPatrol, the Coben adaptation debuted at No. 3 on Netflix's Top 10 most-watched series list and is still yet to drop below fourth place. Missing You's success continues the mystery novel writer's streak of wins since he inked a multi-million-dollar, 5-year contract with Netflix in 2018. Per the terms of the deal, the giant streamer would develop fourteen of his novels for the big and small screen, with Coben as executive producer on all projects. The deal was extended in 2022 following the arrival of The Stranger, The Woods, The Innocent, Gone For Good, Stay Close, and Hold Me Tight, all to varying degrees of acclaim. 2024's Fool Me Once was Coben's last adaptation to debut before his latest effort.

Missing You is one of Netflix's most popular shows at the moment. With all five episodes of the mystery thriller dropping nearly a week ago, most viewers have already binge-watched them all. Now, they're left wondering if a new batch of episodes will be released soon in a Missing You season 2.

Netflix has greenlit an eight-episode adaptation of American thriller/mystery-writer Coben’s novel “I Will Find You.” The Robert Hull-run limited series will mark Coben’s first Netflix adaptation set in the U.S.

“I Will Find You” sees a father serving life in prison after being convicted of murdering his own son. Here’s the deal though: Dad didn’t do it, and the son may still be alive — but not of that can be proven from the inside. Yes, tonight there’s gonna be a jailbreak.

Coben will executive produce through his Final Twist Productions; John Weber also executive produces. As do Bryan Wynbrandt and Steven Lilien, who worked with Hull on NBC’s “Quantum Leap” remake.

Coben is one of the most prolific authors out there, and almost certainly Netflix’s number 1 novelist.

The streamer has given a series order to “I Will Find You,” the first U.S. scripted series under Coben’s creative partnership with Netflix. The eight-episode limited series will be adapted from the author’s 2023 novel by showrunner Robert Hull.

“I Will Find You” follows an innocent father serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son. When he receives evidence that his son my still be alive, he is determined to break out of prison to discover the truth.
