Each of the episodes have some scenes involving gay relationship and love.

Episode 2 has a scene in which a male "Hybrid Child" tells to his master to have sex with him, and gives out some explicit comments about it. Even though this scene is basically comical, some viewers may be disturbed by exactly this scene, especially due to the fact this "Hybrid Child" appears to be a minor. But nothing more than some kissing and partial undressing happen.

Each of the episodes have some references to death.

Episode 1: A man is cut in his right arm by a surgery knife, and we see some blood coming out of the wound. He doesn't feel any pain as he is a "Hybrid Child".

Episode 3: Talking about an upcoming war. A town is burned, but the war itself and deaths are implied.

Both episodes 3 and 4 have many references to suicide.

There could be some Japanese profanity, but what's being said depends on translation.

In some scenes throughout, there is some pipe smoking.

This OVA series tends to have dramatical and emotional scenes, which many of them are about death.

The humorous scene in episode 2, which has a "Hybrid Child" telling his master to have sex with him despite his minor-looking appearance, may be bound to disturb some viewers.
