Interesting, But Depressing

I came away from watching this series with mixed emotions.
It is interesting to be able to view properties most of us would never own, much less even be able to visit.
It is perplexing to watch these prospective buyers consider homes that range in price up to nine million dollars without blinking an eye. Many of them look to be in their 30s and I scratch my head wondering how is it they can afford these properties. It would be interesting to know what they do for a living, or how they came to a point in their young lives to be able to buy these estates (or cottages, or what-have-you). I am sure it's a privacy issue as to what their professions are, but still one wonders.
And finally, I get depressed when I realize I have never been at a point in my life where I could consider such a purchase.
