Actress Jamie Bernadette (All Girls Weekend, The 6th Friend, Sinbad and the War of the Furies) has made the move from indie cinema to TV, guest starring in NCIS : New Orleans – the NCIS spin-off that chronicles the cases worked in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence.
Bernadette made her debut as Callie Tillford, a Russian sleeper agent sent to take out one of her own, in last night’s episode ‘The Asset’. It is expected that CBS will bring the character back, if even to answer all of the questions posed during her debut episode, for an extended arc.
N.C.I.S : New Orleans marks Bernadette’s first prime time network TV credit though she has starred in numerous independent films. Her leading role in the horror film The 6th Friend, which she also produced and co-wrote, has garnered her many...

Stars: Jamie Bernadette, Katie Carpenter, Gema Calero, Karishma Lakhani, Sharron Calvin | Written and Directed by Lou Simon
Writer/director Lou Simon has made quite a name for herself in the horror community within what is, at least in cinematic terms, a very short space of time. Her 2012 feature HazMat sold in record time and her last film, Agoraphobia – starring horror icon Tony Todd and Sharknado’s Cassie Scerbo – recieved decent (if mixed) reviews. Not one to rest of her laurels, Simon returns to the genre, not only writing and directing but also producing survival horror All Girls Weekend.
Taking charge of your career can be a blessing and a curse for filmmakers. On the one hand, having total control of your film as writer, director and producer allows you to bring your vision wholly to the screen without falling foul of other people’s opinions. But on the other hand…...

All Girls Weekend is written and directed by Lou Simon. The film stars Jamie Bernadette, Katie Carpenter, Gema Calero, Michele Gourdine, Sharron Calvin, and Karishma Lakhani.
When we are first introduced to the luckless protagonists of All Girls Weekend, in an overly lit scene full of expository soap opera dialogue, set in a generic movie house, the kind that is too tidy to believe people actually live there, with framed posters of the director's previous films hanging on the walls behind the actors, I did not think that I was in store for a good, or even competently made movie. But, as cliché as it might be for me to write, All Girls Weekend gets better as it goes along, and once the characters become lost in the woods, and the dreadfulness of the situation they are in becomes apparent, it becomes an effective,...
