Elise's life takes a sharp turn for the worst when she meets a mysterious and alluring stranger who has more than friendship on his mind - A tale of love, fantasy and obsession.

After her heartbreaking miscarriage and failing career as an actress, Elise has now found herself without a career and living as a stay at home wife to a wealthy businessman, Rick who, over the years, seems to have got tired of her. Worried he is being unfaithful, when she goes to spy on him, she bumps into a mysterious and alluring photographer, Felix. A passion strikes between them and a steamy affair begins. He shows her sites and feelings she's not felt before; introducing her to sleep with a variety of different men. As they sexually experiment together, her husband grows to realize he might be losing her.

Elise brings champagne to her husband, Rick, while wears a skimpy outfit under her coat. He missed dinner. She finds him with Leila presuming doing some office work but not intensely. Elise feels that it didn't look like Rick was working hard. To add insult to injury, he forgets that it's March 3rd and also initially forgets the significance of that date, their anniversary. At that moment, he gets a phone call and has to leave the office but it appears to be a possibly fake emergency.

The following day, Elise and her best friend, Bianca, are talking in Bianca's flat. Elise tells her that she suspects her husband is having an affair. Bianca suggests revenge sex with another man, but Elise is reluctant. Bianca shares that she has hookups arranged online. She had a weird, but physically attractive man, Charlie, but left him because he was weird. She is meeting another man shortly so Elise leaves.

Elise leaves but peeps in the window where she sees a naked Bianca have prolonged sex with a man. She is aroused and masturbates.

Later or another day, Elise is at the office to see her husband who is not there. A photographer is at the office but told that his assignment is cancelled.

Elise feels depressed. Her husband finds her lying in bed and walks away. She takes some anti-depressant medication. In another scene, her husband, Rick, calls to say he will not be home for dinner because of work.

Presumably the next day, she follows her husband as he leaves for a breakfast meeting. She spies on him at a cafe but he eventually leaves, either after a meeting or no meeting occurred. Elise is approached by the photographer who was at the office at the same time as she was but she initially didn't recognize him. After some talking, he asks to photograph her, which she agrees to, taking place at her home and rooftop patio.

While photographing her, he tries to put her at ease. Elise reveals that she came to London at age 16, did some modeling, and married her husband, who was a successful businessman and a few years older. He, Felix, convinces her to say that she loves him. Felix asks her to take off her dress but she is too nervous. "I want your confidence to come back", Felix says. "I can't do this", says Elise. She runs to the bathroom where Felix slips a note with his name and telephone number. Her husband's personal assistant, Tessa, somehow has a key to the flat, sees the two. Elise pleads with her not to tell her husband what she saw. Tessa diplomatically replies along the lines of "saw what?" to the relief of Elise.

Later, Felix texts Elise wanting to meet while Elise is at home while her husband, personal assistant, and a colleague are having a work related meeting in the kitchen. Elise interrupts the meeting asking her husband about planned architectural renovations but her husband is uninterested, asking his personal assistant, Tessa, to assist. The work meeting ends, leaving Elise alone in the house.

Feeling rejected, she texts Felix and wants to him to come to her home. There, Elise and Felix have sex. Elise's husband returns home but Felix gives an excuse that he was photographing Elise as a model, as Elise was a former model and had a modeling and acting career before marrying her husband. Elise's husband confesses that their relationship has suffered because of his long work hours but that he will change that. He takes a shower.

While Elise's husband is taking a shower, the audience discovers that Felix did not leave the house but quickly has sex with Elise. After the shower, her husband, still wet, has rough sex with her from behind. Elise has just had sex with two men within minutes. Rick, Elise's husband, then leaves for a business trip.

Some time during the trip, Felix and Elise are cuddling on the sofa while talking. Felix wants her to have sex with another man while he watches. Tessa, the personal assistant of Elise's husband, walks in but it's unclear how she has the key.

Some time during her husband's absence, Elise is taking a bubble bath when a shirtless man appears, frightening her. She calms down when she sees Felix at the bathroom doorway then the unknown man gets into the bathtub with her and have explicit sex.

Another time, Felix and Elise are talking at home. She mentions she previously did some modeling and acting and had a miscarriage at 7 months. Felix asks her if she wants to try something else, sex-wise. She agrees and, mysteriously, Felix gets two men at that moment who have sex with Elise. Felix captures the sex on video.

Yet another time, Elise's friend Bianca talk after Elise forgot their lunch date.

Elise comes with Felix where she watches Felix acting as a submissive while having sex with another women, Mindy, who then has light sex with Elise.

Elise comments to Felix that she had a pregnancy scare, after having sex with 4 men consisting of Felix, man in bathroom, two men.

Elise's husband quits his job to spend more time with Elise, including have a lunch with Elise and his colleagues. Felix flirts with Elise with his foot but at the end of the lunch is seen flirting with another woman colleague. Another day, Elise and her newly furloughed (or retired) husband are in bed when they hear a noise, possible a postman. This is when the terror starts.

Elise finds a video playing in the living room. The video is of Elise having sex with two men. She tries to find the remote control but has to, in the end pull the plug on the screen. The remote was sent to their home, presumably by Felix.

Elise visits a potential advertising customer and gives them her modeling portfolio book. They look at it and find, not modeling pictures, but sexually oriented photos of Elise that Felix replaced. She doesn't get the modeling job and is horrified to see sexually oriented photos of her taped to the wall of the advertising agency's office. Somehow, Felix got in during Elise's interview and taped them to the hallway wall.

Felix further attempts to blackmail Elise by threatening to show her husband her sexual exploits with other men. He demands that she comply with sex for a final time. In tears, she complies by being led to Felix' flat where she is painfully raped by approximately 3 men while crying. Felix then admits that this sex was not really his final demand.

Elise leaves, meets with Tessa, her husband's personal assistant, who hugs her for comfort.

Elise goes home and confesses to her husband. Her husband leaves to stay at a hotel while Elise goes to stay with Bianca, finding her flat without anyone there.

Elise returns home and finds her husband and Bianca tied to their chairs and bloodied from superficial stab wounds. Felix wants to kill them so that Elise will only have him as a companion. She finds out that her husband actually has been cheating on her, on two occasions with her friend, Bianca. Originally a one time incident, she demanded that he have sex with her a second time. It's revealed that her call was the initial phone call earlier in the film when Elise was in her husband's office on their anniversary. It's also revealed that Felix first saw Elise when she was masturbating while peeping in Bianca's window while Bianca was having sex with an anonymous person met online. It's also revealed that Bianca's weird hookup, Charlie, was actually Felix, who Bianca dumped for being too weird.

Elise unties Bianca who attempts to run away. Rick, the husband, is then stabbed in the abdomen, bleeding profusely. Elise hysterically tries to comfort him for a long time. Felix catches Bianca in the hallway and presumably kills her with a hammer.

Elise sees Bianca's body, takes the hammer, and is chased by Felix. She barricades herself for a moment behind a door then opens it, beating Felix to death with the same hammer.

Six months later, Elise's husband is recovered. A detective says Felix' background is unknown and that all leads didn't reveal any background information. The detective offers Elise Felix' ashes or that the ashes can be deposed of by the police. Elise accepts the ashes but dumps them on a beach. Elise is pregnant. Elise and her husband embrace but do not discuss who is the father of the soon to be born son; whether it was from the rape or from her husband. The film credits then roll.
