Many of the characters in the film are seen previously in Danny Sangra's earlier short films. Some characters seen in Goldbricks In Bloom have been mentioned but never seen.
Julia played by Kat Clements is the same Julia in Danny Sangra's short films Death On The Road, Casual Sci-Fi, Goldbricks In Bloom and Something Unpredictable. However Julia's surname from Cosgrove to Cosway for the feature film.
Goldbricks In Bloom takes place before the short film No Aloha which takes place in the same Long Island location. During a scene in the kitchen a dolphin postcard can be seen. This is a reference to the dolphin used in No Aloha.
The character Jess (Played by Margaret Clunie) can be seen in the short film The Story of Tobias Medallion. You can see she is writing an email to Calvin Stone.
In the short film for Carolina Herrera, Kat Clements plays Julia Cosway. She is giving direction on set of a fashion shoot to a model. This is a chance to see the character of Julia actually working (which you also get to see in Goldbricks in Bloom).
