Khaad: "Cinema is nothing but an illusion." More you ruminate, more you get entombed in.

I really had a lot of prospects about this movie. First of all, this was a Kaushik Ganguly show. Secondly, the trailer and the cast looked promising.

So the story looks meek, or I should say it just appears simple with a lot more to discover by stages and frames. A bus carrying a group of travelers from the Mal Junction Station to the knolls falls into a gully. They are left to bout and live against the remote and blackest place of enigmas of nature. As time goes by, we get to identify each other's layer. What happens next is the story of Khaad.

It is a pure cinematic experience with a subtle and intellectual depiction of relationships, people's existence and secrets. It makes us go through a state where we stab to accept the fact and forget the complete counterfeit stories or the fairy tales; we overhear and try to believe all the time. The film gives us an opportunity to experience and comprehend the human nature closely under the unexpected moments of life.

I really adore such survival flicks which truly make me think about me, my being and people around me. Like how many of them are truly real? Are they actually that decent or evil or they are Oscar eligible real-life artists? Perhaps, they are genuine and you are thinking too much or maybe you are the just correct, they are camouflaged beings. The reality is behind their masks, but there is always a time when that mask fades away and the fact comes to life. Something like this transpires in the picture as well. It is really an astonishing writing, something new.

Acting – The movie has got a bunch of noble and fresh actors. Kaushik Ganguly, Ardhendu Banerjee, Lily Chakraborty, Rudranil Ghosh, Gargee Roy Choudhury, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, Pallavi Chatterjee, Kaushik Banerjee, Masood Akhtar, Bharat Kaul, Saheb Bhattacherjee, Tanusree Chakraborty, Mimi Chakraborty, Tridha Chowdhury, Rajdeep Ghosh. I really loved Mimi Chakraborty, Rudranil Ghosh, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, Lily Chakraborty and Rajdeep Ghosh's acting among all the others.

Direction – Kaushik Ganguly is one of Bengal's greatest directors now. He is fetching up marvelous thoughts for building a movie. You can continuously bond yourself with the characters of his flicks. He renders the relationship so well. He rocked Khaad as well.

The music is really gentle. "Ami Achi" by Arijit is astounding and goes picture-perfect!

The finest thing about this movie is that it never gives a "loo break". It is completely riveting. Of course, you need to be linked with the genre. Don't except an otherwise crime-whodunit and suspense stuff. The director gives a shocker at the finale, which was quite foreseeable though, but it can be a dumbstruck moment for many. You can never outshine the dark "Khaad", right? A must watch for film devotees 

That's why he is Kaushik Ganguly, the most versatile director and actor in present bengali film industry. "KHAD"- "THE FALL" it actually help us to fall our own darkest guilty and secrets. Those souls have became pure. Thank you so much sir Kaushik Ganguly for making this film

we however know about director a little...but this is not expected from him....just thinking a bit and making films is not reachable for film loving persons...it can only strike some people low film interest....name doesn't always carry clap.....thanks...will expect better next time........cinematography is not upto to the marks as the subject appears.the editing doesn't appeal modern....the film characters are meant for exact persons...but the director cant make them upto the act.....bus accident shown in this film can be shown in a better way with better photographic and editing skills....script is however strong than normal bengali films...it is only point accurate i have observed.....

Meaningless movie

Looks like the director was inspired from some Ahhat episode. I wasted my 2 hours watching this movie.

If they had already died, why didn't their so called ghost watch their own dead bodies. What an abrupt ending!
