- Shri Krishna releases King Ugrasen and his parents Devki and Vasudev who had been imprisoned by Kansa. They are happy to know that Krishna has killed Kansa and fulfilled the prophecy. Vasudev asks Krishna to free Ugrasen first. Krishna tells Ugrasen that he should be coronated as King. Ugrasen argues that Krishna killed Kansa and won Mathura in the process, thus Krishna should be coronated. But Krishna argues that he merely served his motherland and now his work in Mathura is over. Ugrasen is hesitate to accept a kingdom in charity, but it forced to accept when Devki and Vasudev also insist that he is the best person to lead Mathura out of the darkness of the Kansa yrs.
Balram goes to deal with a revolt led by Devki's other brother Sunama, who also controls a small part of the Mathura army.

She thinks Devki stopped Krishna from coming back, but Nand corrects her and says Krishna considers only Yashoda as his mother. But now he belongs to the entire known world. He never left. With Krishna, now Yashoda also belongs to the world. She reared the God who rears the whole world. She should be proud of that and let him go.

They eat and sleep with her). So, she should be the one to stay back. Madri goes Sati with Pandu. Vasudev wants to take Kunti to Mathura, but rishis tell him that she is still queen of Hastinapur and hence she should return there. Vasudev can only take Kunti to Mathura, if Hastinapur allows it. Kunti returns to Hastinapur with her children. Bhishma receives her at the gates. Duryodhan is not happy that the sons of Pandu have returned to Hastinapur as it is not their home. Only his
