Female nudity is seen sometimes.

A sex scene on a couch. The woman slowly disrobes down to her thong revealing most of her buttocks for some time. Then her bare buttocks and, briefly, one of her bare breasts are visible as she removes her thong and sits on the man's lap. Passionate kissing is seen, thrusting is briefly seen, and moaning is heard.

Many scenes of women in revealing outfits e.g. lingerie or underwear.

A sex scene between a married couple. Loud moaning and visible thrusting but no nudity. Meant for laughs.

A woman's naked corpse is seen.

A naked woman is found lying on the ground. Bare breasts and buttocks are visible.

A sex scene in a motel. The woman's bare back and the top of her buttcrack are visible as she rides the man. Her bare breasts are briefly visible as he touches them. The scene is meant to be uncomfortable and is shot to make the viewer feel claustrophobic. It goes on for quite long to reinforce this feeling.

A naked woman sits on a bed. Then she goes to the bathroom and takes a shower. Bare breasts are visible for some time. Her bare buttocks is briefly visible.

There are a a couple of sex scenes, with brief nudity (mostly obscured) and a few brief references to sexual acts.

A man punches a woman in the face and she gets a bloody nose.

A rotting corpse is seen with a large wound in its eye and a decapitated head. This corpse is seen multiple times throughout the series.

A woman is shot in the side of the head through a pillow, afterwards we see her dead body with some blood and brain matter coming from the wound.

A documentary of lions killing and eating a wildebeest is watched by one of the characters, blood is seen for a few seconds.

A character loses control of their car and it rolls down a hill, but they aren't injured.

A man stabs a woman to death, we see him stabbing her and blood goes everywhere. He stabs another woman offscreen and we hear her scream, and we then see him covered in blood.

A man is shot in the chest three times. He falls over and his face and torso are covered in blood.

A man crushes another man's head with his bare hands, blood falls everywhere.

A recently-shot man shows his bullet wound to another person. Not very graphic.

A man breaks into a woman's house and attacks her. We don't see anything happen onscreen but we hear a scream and a loud thud, and afterwards we see her lying on the floor with a pool of blood around her.

Throughout the series words like "Fuck" and "Shit" are used, but can vary from once to 30+ times depending on the episode. Casual profanity is throughout. "Cunt" is said four times.

The profanity is much stronger than the original series.

Many characters drink and smoke throughout. There are also references to drugs, drug use and possession, specifically cocaine and marijuana.

There are many scenes that are intentionally meant to be frightening, confusing and disturbing to the viewer throughout the entire show. In general this season is much darker than the original series and it does not contain quite as much of the quirkiness or humour that its predecessor had.

A fair amount of scenes featuring flashing lights and VERY shakey camera movements.

Multiple intense scenes of vomiting (sometimes with blood) that can be uncomfortable for viewers.

The sound design of the show can be very unsettling. The background audio in many scenes can be jarring or uncomfortable to listen to, and some sound effects like screams can be scary for some viewers.

One scene of a character committing suicide via gunshot to the head (offscreen).

In the final episode "Part 18". A woman screams top of her lungs.

A huge section of the show takes place in a nightmarish place called 'The Black Lodge'. A man encounters frightening imagery such as a talking fleshy tree and a woman with stitched eyes among others.
