- The documentary focuses on the brutal gang rape and torture of a woman and the aftermath of the incident. It features explicit verbal details of her ordeal when one of the perpetrators gives a blow by blow account of the rape and the subsequent violence exacted on the victim. Descriptions of the injuries she sustained are also given in an interview with the doctor who treated the victim.
- In addition, the documentary contains footage of the riots that rocked the country in the aftermath of the rape and the strong-arm tactics the authorities used to suppress them. There are depictions of the police using force, tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd. However, there are no details of blood and injury seen.
- The documentary also explores the mindsets and beliefs of the rapists who grew up in a deeply patriarchal society, where prejudice against women is institutionalised, as they try to justify their actions. Their views are also echoed by their lawyers who voice out strong opinions about rightful place of a woman. The documentary also features the anguish of the victims parents as they recount their harrowing experience.
