- A music video for Britney Spears's song 'Stronger'.
- The scene is set in a super-modern night club revolving high up on a tower. A lightning storm is raging. Smokey-eyed, beautifully made-up Britney, wearing black tousled pants, boots, and a leather top exposing a bare midriff, is confronting her two-timing boyfriend, and he is forced to choose. But actually, he has already chosen, and Britney is the one falling out. She feigns her indifference, "Whatever" but is hurt, yet totally determined not to show any of that. To the fierce beat of music, like a slow powerful locomotive, she acrobatically dances with a silver steel chair. "I've had enough, I'm not your property as of today!" She resolutely finds the inner strength to overcome her loss, "You might think that I won't make it on my own, but now I'm stronger than yesterday, now there's nothing but my way!" and very significantly, perhaps in reference to her own tumultuous private life, says goodbye to her original outing's musing, "My loneliness is killing me" of Britney Spears: ...Baby One More Time (1998) by now declaring that "My loneliness ain't killing me no more" as she precariously balances on the chair before taking a moonlit drive on this stormy night out on a lonely road in her classic Ford Mustang. "Here I go, here I go!" A bolt of lightning, the car skids out of control, goes into a 180 degree spin, sliding to a halt, but, panting, she is safe. The image of the bridge afterwards could perhaps be interpreted as strong, calm resolution, and there is the joy derived from independence and inner strength. It is Britney at her unequaled best, the zenith of all her performances.
