Brennan is the keynote speaker at a forensics convention. She begins by trying to tell a joke when all hell breaks loose. A woman has burned to death in a stairwell. Hodgins is the prime suspect because he has had a negative history with this woman. She stole some significant work from him in college and made a fortune. The neat thing about the episode is that all the nerdy forensics people are there, dancing to their own individual tunes. A nice thing about this episode is the return of Wendell Bray, whose cancer is in remission. He is still in a clinical trial but in a tenuous frame of mind. The science is good in this one and so are the personal interactions.

Jeffersonian Security (Sort of) Does Their Job

I really enjoyed this episode! I liked that it was a completely different format from what we usually see. It had a similar vibe to a bottle episode because we were really focused on the convention and the people involved.
I love that everyone thought our team were like superstars walking around the convention.
Hodgins said the best line of the episode "This is the third time I have been a murder suspect." I love that the writers are acknowledging that they often make Hodgins a suspect.
We also get to see Wendall (who's in remission!). Wendall and Booth had a really sweet but kinda intense moment together. I just really like seeing their relationship.
We also got to see the Jeffersonian security sort of do their job. They helped escort people out of the building. Now they are partially the reason someone got in but hey more than what they have done in earlier seasons.
Overall, I found this episode very amusing. It was a bit more light hearted and the limited suspect pool and locations makes it fun!
Best Part: Bones comment to Wendall "you are no use to me if your cancer returns and you die, Mr. Bray" I love that it is her way of saying she cares
Worst Part: The crowd not laughing at Bones' (well really Booth's) joke "great food, no atmosphere" -- that right there is a funny joke and its a shame that barely anyone laughed.
