I've seen some dumb women in horror movies but these girls takes the prize, everything they do from start to finish is just plain pointless and stupid and the ending is ridiculous. That being said the costumes and makeup are really well done, the plot ,dialogue and the acting were a bit on again, off again but all up an entertaining movie.

I'll make it brief. Terrible story, weird cutscenes, bad acting and mostly cringe. The most disturbing thing in this movie is the relationship between what looks like a twenty-something brunette and her creepy Uncle. Whats worse is that her name is "Lamb" and his name is "Wolf". Accident? I think not. Avoid.

I will never get that time back. The 10 star review tricked me into watching the first half but I just couldn't force myself to hang. Whoever gave that 10 review bumped their head or they enjoy all tha garbage I hate.

So, I doubled my 15-minute rule, but the people were so lame and progress and interest so nonexistent that I couldn't continue. Not a single character is likable or attractive (I mean moreso in their personalities but looks could apply too), so why would I care to follow them? (The "mission" they were on was also lame and poorly set up.)

Dear Horror Writers and Directors,

STOP making such characters in horror movies. Also, consider the horror films that are legendary in the genre. Do you know why they've stood the test of time? Because the characters could be empathized with, even if they weren't always likable! LEARN that the horror actually comes from seeing yourself in the characters/not wanting bad things to happen to decent to good people. You give me a group of annoying people and the horror element is ZERO. There goes the interest too!

Horror is my favorite genre (including every subgenre of horror), and I'm a cinephile besides, so believe me when I say that you are FAILING this genre in this horrible trope you insist on. It makes people dislike your movie, turn it it off, leave a bad review, and never watch your films again.

*1-star because some of the trailer (the pig people) seemed intriguing, but, alas, I didn't get that far.

Bad script, bad acting, bad story, and bad direction. No part of this movie was good. How does crap like this even get made?

The movie impressed me in a few fronts. The claymation was neat and added an unsettling dream effect. The monsters costumes and effects looked impressive especially for the strait to stream affair. Unfortunately, the film, or at least the version I saw on Amazon was poorly cut. Scenes seem to jump about as frequently as the characters do about the landscape with out explanation. The best example unfortunately comes with the end, where the characters drive from the desolate landscape to a suburb, get out of the car and are apparently in the middle of no where, and all while the pig villain seems to catch up their vehicle on foot despite assumedly driving a great distance. Lastly, most of the characters that go on the trip get little introduction and our gone very quickly.

This movie was so bad. The only decent part was the upper torso of the actress at the totem pole. Other than that I just want some Bacon.

Illogical plot. Dialog written by a 5th grader. Shaky camera work and weird scene cuts do not make a horror film.

Don't waste your time.

Choose another movie.

Writer/director Barney Burman brings us Wild Boar. A brilliant imaginative roller coaster ride of a movie. This is Barney Burmans directional debut. Wow what a debut. This is a really fun movie. A group of treasure seekers led by Scarlet (Augie Duke) and her fiance Garrett (Daniel Roebuck) are joined by Garrett's brother Turtle (Jim Nieb), and their friends, Sable (Jessica Sonneborn) and Griffin (Michael Reed). Legendary entrepreneur Roger Foster (Barney Burman) supposedly has left a significant treasure they want to find. They get more than they bargained for. They land up in a hidden valley cut off by civilization whose inhabitants are radiation, mutated pigs. In our world we eat them in there world we are there meals. Captured, tortured and what transpires is unimaginable. Barney Birman is a brilliant and talented make up artist. I was told he had Approximately 20 people work on this at his B2FX shop. After viewing a lot pays tribute to The Planet of The Apes and The Hills Have Eyes. While it pays tribute it stands alone and is original and one of the best movies of this genre. A very like able cast Brings life to the chaos. But Augie Duke really shines in this. Augie really has fun with the character and believe it or not gets to really show her acting range throughout the movie. Comical, fear, survivalist. Her delivery is a delight to watch and so amazing you have to see what I mean. Her growth through the character is amazing as the movie progresses. I really look forward to see what comes next from Barney. The movie was well paced and was not overdone with over the top FX. No it compliments the movie and they are equally disturbed throughout the progress of the story that unfolds. These pigs have a life and are amazing to look at. They are scary and keep you on the seat with terror as our survivors try to get back to civilization.

As low budget horror movies go, this isn't too bad and gets extra marks for the cool monsters.

The other reviews caused me to think it would be worse and I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.

It's a fairly standard format but kept me entertained. Could've done with some better death scenes but on the whole the best nuclear pig movie I've seen this year.

This movie is very entertaining and is kind of a super low budget version of Wrong Turn with its on flavor. Wild Boar is yet another victim of indie haters who have lost the ability to watch and appreciate something off the beaten path.

If you go into it expecting campy, cheesy, schlocky, 80s fun (and a couple of beers), it wasn't completely bad.

The premise is as silly as it gets and our treasure hunters are acting typically dumb but the mutant pig enemies look pretty damned good design-wise. Acting is fairly standard horror fare, probably above-average for a cheesy horror. It all gave off a very 80s camp vibe like "The Toxic Avenger" or "Tremors". The gore was decent, but the kills won't be enough to satisfy the violence fans. Set design looked like they filmed in a town previously ravaged by meth addiction and poverty and now abandoned, but suitable given the plot.

I didn't hate it. It's certainly not a 1/10, but don't expect anything serious.

...Finally watched this and in spite of the harsh reviews here, was very impressed by it! Call it ,"The Hills Have Eyes" by way of Jodorsky and Richard Stanley! Weird and unnerving with a lot left up to interpretation and analysis, this certainly won't be.everyone's cup of tea, but it is definitely worth checking out for fans of weird horror, awesome practical effects and makeup, and genre favorite Augie Duke from :Bad Kids Go to Hell" among many other horror efforts! An admirable first time directing effort from an Oscar-winning special effects coordinator, and a definite must-see, for fans of bizarre and unusual films!

Surprisingly professional looking for a low budget film. The lead actress, Augie Duke, is splendid.

The script is rather uneven though, little is explained how things came to be, the characters interactions with each other don't always make sense. Ending is really confusing too.

+1 Star for wet tshirts...and leaving bras at warning totems....

This is one way to make use of those abandoned structures on the way from LA to Vegas. I will give them that.

What's really cool is when they find the mysterious box that Mel Gibson hid by this abandoned structure, they also find a tunnel that leads them to a completely different area of the desert.

Ruh Roh. Poor Turtle got shot. The gunshots start flying after the decorating of the warning totem!!! Such a shame.

Oh no and then the men all get killed and only the women are left!

And the last half of the movie was weird and clunky. That kinda balanced out and it had a weird and clunky ending but all in all I found it entertaining. 6/10
