Lots of action!

This is so different than their last film. I am more of a drama and documentary fan. But I ran out of things to watch on Netflix. Haha. If you like action this is definitely the movie for you!

Whomever it was that gave this movie the go-ahead hates action movies and acting!

What an absolute shower of the proverbial!

I always give films the benefit of the doubt and on this occasion i wish i hadn't.

I want my time back!!!

This is by far one of the worst acted films in recent history, even the general dialogue is forced and content is weak as!

This is for sure a streaming movie if the internet has absolutely nothing else to offer.

Do yourself a favour yeah...

THIS MOVIE MAKES NO SENSE ; LACKS PLOT AND COMMON SENSE

THIS MOVIE WAS NOT ENTERTAINING. IN FACT IT WAS FULL OF BULL POOP AND WAS OUT OF CONTEXT. All the events in the movie are out of place, lack connection between each event in the movie , there is no flow between each event of the movie , all the events in the movie made no sense. THE MOTIVE BEHIND THE MURDER IN THE MOVIE ALSO DID NOT MAKE ANY SENSE ,SOUNDED CHILDISH AND LACKED COMMON SENSE. THE ENDING WAS VERY RANDOM AND THE RUSHED CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE BOY AND THE DETECTIVE MADE NO SENSE (IT WAS SO AWKWARD AND SO UNENTERTAINING BUT OBVIOUSLY VERY DRY DRAMA) ; IT LOOKED LIKE THE DIRECTOR NOT ONLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH ORGANIZING ALL THE EVENTS IN THE MOVIE BUT ALSO HAD TROUBLE PORTRAYING THE AWKWARDLY DRY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DETECTIVE AND THE BOY (IT WAS NOT EXPLICIT LIKE WAS IT A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP OR A MURDERED PERSONS' BROTHER AND DETECTIVE GIRL -SOLVING THE CASE- RELATIONSHIP OR WAS IT AN ACQUAINTANCE RELATIONSHIP. NOW THE FIGHTING SKILLS WERE ENTERTAINING AND THE BOY SEEING WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE/AFTER SOMETHING WAS (VERY DRAMATIC BUT ENTERTAINING). BUT THE GIRL DETECTIVE LEAVING HER JOB (OR DENYING/REJECTING THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK AT THE DETECTIVE AGENCY) BC OF THE BOY , WAS VERY DRAMATIC AND NOT ENTERTAINING (BUT WAS VERY DUMB/STUPID AND IRRATIONAL). HOW ABOUT PROMOTE MORE GOOD MORALS AND NOT PROMOTE BAD MORALS JUST FOR DRAMA PURPOSES.

Bought it in iTunes yesterday. Watched it through. It was a decent movie, a good movie to watch before the summer blockbusters. I enjoyed several scenes that were very well made.

Fun Flick for a Friday

My wife and I were looking for something fun on a Friday night that would keep us entertained over pizza and beer. We've got a six month old, not much time, and even less attention span. We stumbled across Insight on iTunes and it managed to fit the bill perfectly. Honestly, in a time when every action movie is overly long and ponderously serious, it's refreshing to find something like this that's just a briskly paced popcorn flick with something eye catching in every scene.

Ken Zheng plays a clairvoyant counter-terrorism expert investigating the death of his brother in LA. It turns out things are more complicated than they first appear, and Zheng has to team up with Madeline Zima to take on diabolical bad guy Sean Patrick Flanery and his vicious henchman, Adam Huss. Foot chases, car chases, shootouts, fist fights, explosions, and psychic stuff ensue. Does it all make perfect sense? Nope. Does it have to? Nope. This is about good guys and bad guys settling scores and reading minds.

The ending leaves room for a sequel, which I'm looking forward to. The rapid fire plot left little space for much backstory or B-story, so hopefully some of the other characters can grow as the world building continues. (Huss' performance was convincingly menacing, and it'd be nice to see him have the chance to turn the threat level up to 11.)

All told, we enjoyed ourselves. Pour yourself a drink (or two) and have fun with this flick on a Friday night like we did.

REVENGE & NON-STOP ACTION.

Dooods messed with the wrong guy's brother. Pretty good revenge action thriller with a bit of a sci-fi twist. Didn't care much for the story, but I loved the action. Sort of how I felt about Taken when that came out. If you liked that, you'll definitely love this movie. Non-stop action and violence until one man gets what he's looking for.

If you love non-stop action I'd highly recommend this film.

The fighting is cool, action is great, and the whole visions thing threw me off at first, but it's definitely something new and fun. If you love non-stop action I'd highly recommend this film.

Rollercoaster!!

Didn't know what to expect going in... The trailer didn't give me much, but I'm glad I rented the film! Non-Stop action! It was like a rollercoaster, it felt like there was a new cool fight scene every other scene. Definitely recommend this film for the action.

Top Secret Agent

It's about a Top Secret Agent, Jian Huang, who gets the bad news that his brother committed suicide. Jian has clairvoyance vision/premonition type of powers and thinks it's all a hoax. So he's on a mission to find his brother's killer and get revenge! Great action set pieces and amazing fight choreo.

It's pretty good. My wife and I bought it yesterday and the action was pretty good. The story is not bad either but the positive in this is definitely the action in the movie. I watched it in Google Play. It was pretty good.

The story is mostly grounded in action, drama and some elements of sci-fi. It is pretty quick paced/ If you like movie that is predominantly action then this movie is for you. I thought this movie was going to be more slow-burn which is my favorite type of movie but its decent nonetheless.

I was invited to see this film before it was released as part of the test screening. And then I watched it once again when it came out on demand. They pretty much kept most of the edit, just enhanced it a little bit. Anyways if you feel you have seen everything in Netflix this film is worth the few dollars to rent! Remember the filmmakers are still very young and they will only improve! I would rate this 7 out of 10 but because of their ambition and drive I give it extra couple points =)

Good for this budget and type of film

Obviously do not compare this with the Matrix or Mulan. It is in different budget range! For this budget and type of film it is well done. It's basically a lot of ass kicking. Don't watch this if you don't like martial arts!

He is under the bed

Jian (Ken Zheng ) and his brother Bao are both clairvoyant. They are scarfed up by a private firm to hunt and kill bad guys. When Bao dies in LA, Jian starts his own investigation aided by the LAPD detective (Madeline Zima ) who doesn't know how Jian seems to know things.

The gimmick was good for about the first hour, after that I felt the film dragging on. Questionable acting. Worth a view.
