For Once Angela Doesn't Have Something Programmed in her Computer
briezey5 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Now this episode isn't quite as extreme as the horsy play episode from season 2, but it is definitely up there in its explicit nature. For once Angela didn't have something programmed into her computer and Fuentes' reaction was pretty funny.

The body from this episode looked unlike most the bodies we see, with only half of it with flesh and half a skeleton. This helped add some interest to the episode. Other than that and the dungeon that the victim created I don't think there was really anything special about this episode. Our intern was Fuentes who isn't bad but I don't feel like we know enough about him for me to really enjoy his presence.

Booth is finally learning to trust Aubrey which is nice. We will never be able to replace Sweets but so far I like what they have done with Aubrey's character, he isn't annoying or too intense or a caricature of an "FBI Agent." I think he will fit in well, though it does seem like he makes a lot of unnecessarily short trips to Bones and Booth's house, like driving all that way to drop off a $10 bottle of wine and then leave, seems like a bit of a waste. But overall he seems like a good guy.

I found Bones' comment "I know a good guy when I see one" to be pretty funny. Like, Bones, should we look at your dating history pre-Booth? Remember when you were going out with that guy who killed his brother and claimed he was possessed by a witch's spirit? Are you SURE you know a good guy when you see one?

Best part: seeing Bones and Booth strengthen their relationship after everything they have been through

Worst part: just wish there was a bit more too the episode.

Booth Gets Straightened Out
Hitchcoc3 March 2023
An morbidly obese conservative talk show host is murdered. He is stuffed in a storm drain. The evidence is obfuscated by the show he stars in which brings a great deal of enmity from the many viewers, including white supremacists. There are also a couple associated with the host who don't necessarily buy into his hatred. It turns out that he isn't always speaking his true mind. But the biggest thing that would have undermined a billion dollar business is the fact that he frequented an S & M establishment. The hardware used by his dominatrix becomes a roadblock for the investigators. The guy who escaped from Cuba is back. Also, Booth's own bigotry was getting in the way and he finally needed to be confronted.
