In the opening scene, Captain Blamey can be seen cantering along the coast on a horse. At this point the horse is wearing a standing martingale so as to keep his head at a level where he can be controlled by the actor. However, a moment later in another shot, as the horse comes to a stop and Captain Blamey dismounts and holds the horse, the standing martingale is nowhere to be seen.
